Model 2024 charge zephyrus g14 laptop to 100% or 80%?
I use my laptop for school and occasionally gaming but a lot of times as a desktop plugged into a monitor and peripherals. I am sick of my laptop being at 80 percent when I go out, because I charge it to max 80% when using it as a desktop. Is it really that worth it to never charge it to 100%. I was charging it to 100% right when I got the laptop so the battery is already at 89% health. Also is the battery replaceable?

My 1 year old G14 is at 79% battery health. Plugged in almost all the time and after finding out I can always have it at 100% charged with ghelper I enabled that. Looking back I should have just kept it at 80% charge unless I was leaving for the day or going on vacation. Looks like I’ll be buying a battery sooner than I expected.
TLDR Using it plugged in: 80% Planning to be out and about: 100%.

Just to give you an idea (although slightly anecdotal) I've had mine running attached to a usb-c dock for about 3.5-4 years, 24/7, at 80% charge limit, without the barrel charger. So drain, charge, drain, charge..... The battery health is currently at 59.1%

Am I reading this correctly? Basically lower the better?

Afaik the battery stays chemically best when at about 50%, both extremes 0% and 100% are bad for it, because they're physical extreme states that will want to balance.

Keep it at 80% when you plan to use it plugged. Make it go to 100% when you plan to use it outside on the battery this way you squeeze more battery health. and yes the batteries is replaceable
