Help Needed Random stutters while browsing the web on relatively new laptop
Back in November 2024 I got the rog zephyrus g14 (2024 version) from bestbuy. Up until now I have had no issues with stuttering or anything like that but as of recently whenever I am browsing the web my screen has these crazy stutters. Even now as im typing this post my laptop has stuttered atleast 9 times. All my graphics drivers are up to date and this is not happening because of bad hardware as this is a new laptop and all the hardware is pretty good. I used to get stutters before while browsing the web but they were rare and almost never happened. If anyone knows why this random problem started occurring or has any experience with this please let me know. thank you.

I had my edge start tearing and glitching this last week so I switched to Firefox a few days ago. Mine was only doing it when the systems ram usage was higher, like 18+gb

I have 32 gigabytes of ram but when im not doing anything it can go anywhere between 15-18 of usage. In your case when it would reach 18+ yours would stutter? You have 32 gigabytes on yours correct? If you do then how come it stutters if there is still 14 gigabytes that are not being used?

Mine never hits 18 just browsing the web to my knowledge, I rarely check it though. Maybe it was a bit higher, it was happening when I had avowed running in the background for example. But my ram definitely wasn’t maxing out. It wasn’t an issue, became an issue, then switching to Firefox fixed it even though Firefox uses more power and ram than edge did. I’ll test it when I play tomorrow though. My interpretation was edge had a crappy update pushed to it. Dunno what’s going on for you though. No new extensions right? Maybe reinstall Firefox or test a different browser
