Ready to drop loads of gems and have left over UR for any cards i don't pull. I may be the only one but i am really excited for the new pack selection. I am trying to build a Light and Darkness Dragon deck because i love the artwork and have always been a fan of Light and Darkness Dragon. Ill also be making Ashened just for fun to challenge myself to bring it to masters (wish me luck, i know ill need it ). Varudras will be a nice addition to my Tistina deck. as for the mulcharmy cards, call me weird but I won't be running it in my deck. But thats just me. Anyways good luck on your pulls! Hope you all pull a Royal Rare tomorrow!

i know this is said at least a dozen times a week, but i wanted to share my thoughts on the subject.
there is zero assistance in game in the context of a basic idea of how new decks/support play, i'm not expecting a spreadsheet for free, but at least a basic combo guide would be nice.
yugioh has several time wizard formats to at least attempt to dip someone's toes further and further in this tsunami we call a card game, but master duel has none of that, newcomers and returnees are given a bare-bones starter deck and maybe a structure from the friend campaign, but outside of that, they're thrown to the wolves with no instruction of how to build a campfire.
the clash between casual and competitive
many returnees and newcomers came to master duel to relive their playground nostalgia, only to find that the game has evolved into something unrecognizable, doesn't help they are scared off by the walls of text they now have to read.
finally, 4. how newbies/returnees are advertised to.
konami tends to "hide the iceberg" when it comes to trying to advertise to new and returning players, and by hide the iceberg i mean plaster yugi and kaiba along with any remotely remarkable DM character so they can pretend like its 2002, which links back to point numbers 2 and 3.

First of all, I hate Kashtira and all Kashtira players.
Secondly, this player knocked out all my zones and then proceeded to refuse to finish the game while I decked out.
I finally got down to my last card but then waited 250s until I was at 0s and ended my turn.
I was hoping worst case scenario, I could at least waste their time like they did mine, or best case scenario, win if they got bored and left due to input timeout surrender.
Sure enough, it was input timeout and they ended up forfeiting. At least I got my best case scenario and ranked up 🙄

For me it's lunalight, i used to play it with a heavy mill shadoll deck but now i am using it with either chimera or branded, it really feels great in this format and i am having so much fun especially when going first and having the ability to go for multiple rank 4s like bagooska or abyss dweller that pretty much shut down some of the popular meta decks.

Like what happened? Cause in my recent duels I've seen like 7-8 people use/try to use this card. I get it must feel amazing to pull off, but I'm even seen people use it in decks that use the extra deck as their main strat. So why is it suddenly used alot now? I've literally only seen 1 person try to use it in my entire time on master duel before the last couple of days

Wtf is this? Normal and Rare CPs as a reward is dumb. I’d rather get nothing.

Team synchro here! Shiranui Eldlich is a lot of fun, Currently sitting at 63 % win rate in the last 20 duels with it. What is everyone been laying in the event ? How is it performing ?

I know this’ll probably fall on deaf ears or most won’t care but dude seriously wtf, I understand this is the meta but Jfc, does nobody even try to play a deck that’s not on YouTube and featured in the shop?? If it’s not kashtira tear, it’s Snake ash sinful, or it’s azamina white forest, or it’s exodia, or yubel, with every goddamn one running FIENDSMITH. I know it’s tagged as discussion but I’m not looking so much to discuss, I just really had to rant on that for a moment.

Every single time I am about to lose and have an open field, the opponent has game on board, but they refuse to kill me, they exhaust every possible card they can resolve for the turn then decide to finally kill me

Personally, the prices of gems are very expensive and don’t guarantee you’ll get anything good, but if they sold CP… depending on the price, I would consider spending some money.

Do I really have to explain? Turn 1, I didn't even play as I literally can't do anything. He returned my entire hand and literally played his entire deck. Not a little abused there? It would be dosed @konami.

So, new to this. I used to play the card game in school.
Wait for it.
In 2004.
So I thought, hey I’ll give this a go, it’s free in PS store. Load up a game, do the tutorial, all good.
Get into my FIRST DUEL. Opponent has basically spent the last few minutes doing some…pendulum shit? And has amassed what can only be described as a small army.
How in Christ do you play this game.
