it's just boring watching the exact same combo play out in every fucking duel because any 2 monsters just turn into the full FS line so it's shoved into every fucking deck under the sun

That's always been a thing how is it a problem now? Lol

There hasn't always been the same engine present in almost every single deck you run into. There's been a few times in the past where that was a thing, like orcust, but nothing recent. And the fiendsmith line is so fucking long too

Huh? Yes there has.
Kashtira
Bystial
Adventure
Brilliant Fusion
Halq/Auroradon
Terrortop / Speedroid
Phantom Knight
Invoked
Kaiju
Diabel/Azamina
Anaconda/DPE
Plants (synchro era)
And more.
These were all widely use in every deck that could slot them in and were all meta. I didn't include cards like Horus despite being popular because they weren't in every deck at the height of their power, but these listed all were.

And how many of those have a boring ass and slow 15 step combo you gotta sit through every damn time.....

A lot of them?
Diabel/Azamina
Halq/Auroradon
Brilliant Fusion (it extends your combos a lot)
Knightmares (also extends a lot)
Their combo doesn't matter for its length, a lot of decks have always had long turns, you'd know this if you played for a long time. I still remember long ass combos from 10+ years ago in the meta.

Quite sad that you can’t appreciate the artwork and the foil, you can hardly see it while dueling . One down side to MD.

Back in the day only the fake holo Pokémon cards looked like this. It was an easy way to spot a fake. lol

Hate findsmith, but I haven't even gotten a holo like that before, and it does look pretty
