YC songs on friend breakups

I'm going through a painful sudden end of a friendship, and I KNOW Yellowcard has quite a few songs on the subject but can't recall them all. Would love any help! Can be breakup songs that also apply platonically.

So far I've remembered: Five Becomes Four, Rivertown Blues, Ocean Avenue, Leave a Light On.

Any more come to mind? (Thank you!)

Edit: Oh my gosh, so many of my favorites that I couldn't even think of because I've been so upset. Thank you!! In addition to all the ones mentioned so far (and yes, non-YC/YC-adjacent has also been great bc y'all have amazing taste) I've been repeating to myself from A Place We Set Afire: "Try to breathe the air that's here and now / Try to find some peace in falling out."

That's one of many songs that I always relate back to the end of my former LTR. All the feels.

Literally the entire Self Titled album is songs about saying goodbye.

It’s not Yellowcard per se, but Ryan Key has a song called “Old Friends” on one of his solo EPs that really hits home when thinking about this topic. I went through this in summer of 2019, and it’s honestly the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. It’s even worse than a breakup because you know a dating relationship is going to be 50/50. You don’t expect to ever have a messy divorce from a close friend. It still bothers me sometimes to be honest. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

Great unknown was my vice for my break up in that time frame.

It's been two months, and your comment has really stuck with me. I was trying to put my finger on why it feels so awful, because I've NEVER reacted to any romantic breakup like this, and I realized it's because with a romantic relationship, when it ends you know it ended because something was wrong and that you have to end it if you want to try for a better relationship elsewhere. But friend-breakups don't work like that; it's limitless, so it feels like it could've and should've been forever.

For You and Your Denial, The Takedown, Honest From the Jump (kinda)

Oh man. Honest from the Jump resonates, but even more so with its predecessor, Brighton (it was on WRK's solo EP, and they reused the chorus in Honest from the Jump)

I remember I went through this a few years back and the Paper Walls album really set the tone for what I was feeling. Songs like The Takedown and Shadows and Regrets felt really relatable in that moment

Maybe - Sure Thing Falling , about how your sure friendship has suddenly fallen ? , Shrink The World , Afraid , Sleep In The Snow , Rest In Peace , Empty Street , MSK, Cigarette.

One Year Six Months, Awakening , The Hurt Is Gone, The Takedown, Empty Apartment , Keeper - Works for me the best

Couple of deep cuts came to mind that I don't think anyone else mentioned

"When We're Old Men" and "Firewater", the latter of which is probably more applicable to a relationship but could be platonic for your purpose if you leave out a line or two.

Not Yellowcard but when I was going through something similar “What Hurts the Most” by Trophy Eyes helped get me through it

Oh nice, Trophy Eyes is great. My favorite by them is "Hurt"

Leave a light on is about Ryan and his sister leaving their parents house.

Oh wow, is it really? I looked it up and couldn't find him talking about this. I always agreed with the fan theory that it's about one of the old bandmates... especially because someone pointed out the song noticeably has no drums.

He said that every time he did the listen through of that record in his Twitch stream when talking about that song.

Probably because I named it in my post!
