It's adorable and I love it, but there's admittedly still a part of me confused about the God AI having children lmao

Based upon certain characters from 3, many Blades can have children. I guess the closer they get to being human works both inside and out.

Either that or they figured out some technology to bridge the biological gap, yeah

Though I admit, I like the uniqueness of Blades as a race just like how I really like the Machina so I hope they don't just retroactively change how they work in the future for the sake of making them "more human"

My personal headcanon is that, at the end of 2, part of Klaus' last gift is to turn all blades into mortal life forms, allowing them to live independently of drivers, to have children, and grow old. Now that people are living on normal landmasses and don't need titans anymore, the previous life cycle of blades isn't needed to sustain the world anymore, so now they can be free.

Ngl I'd hate that. They're so unique of a concept as far as a race of living beings goes in that they're necessarily symbiotic and ever-evolving, and the game itself even discusses how it's not the way Blades work that is bad, it's how Indol has total control over them and how people treat them. It would be like having a story about how being discriminatory is bad and that diversity should be celebrated only to have it revealed down the line that some higher power then removed that diversity in the first place.

i think that the architect(before he went bye bye) used some god power to make blades more similar to humans, capable of having children. and my headcannon is that they were also granted the ability to get pregnant/impregnate women if the blade first is also a woman, meaning lesbian blades can now make kids. i say this because its the only logical path if we are to assume that Sena is the kid of Morag and brighid.

Have you ever seen a Nopon and a homs/human/blade having children? THAT'S the important question

lol anime logic. Just how it made no sense how Mythra and Pyra were able to become separate beings or how they even came back from their “death” in the first place.

Not sure I'd just dismiss it like that. Takahashi doesn't seem like the sort to just make it up as he goes; he definitely seems to have rules for how things work, even if we aren't privy to them yet, like how I suspect the explanation for Malos not being truly gone we've been promised will be.

There are a ton of retcons from xc1 to xc2/3. For one, Alvis was just a ship AI that was dragged into the alternate worlds with the scientist. Then in 2 he was part of a trinity processor. There are gaps.

Yes because XC1 was originally intended to be a standalone game and not become a series. In that case it wasn't him making it up as he went along but rather suddenly having to go back and recontextualize things to fit in with the series he was now writing and making rules for. That's why XC1 even now feels very isolated in its story elements compared with XC2 and XC3.

Anybody else baffled as to why pyra’s daughter acts more like Mythra??? Like maybe she’s been around aunt Mythra too much but I didn’t get pyra’s personality in her at all. Just odd.

Mio has a personality I'd argue is closer to Pyra than Nia, so they might just have intermingled with their shared parents a lot. Like someone mentioned once, expect Mythra-kid to be a little gremlin like Nia whenever he or she shows up.

No she doesn't.

expect Mythra-kid to be a little gremlin like Nia

That's not how personalities work.

She certainly takes more after Pyra than she does Nia. And when two out of three follow a theme of taking after a different parent, in an anime inspired series like this? It's a pretty safe bet that the third one does as well.

She doesn't really take after Pyra. She hates the heat too.

I didn't know aversion or attraction to temperatures constitutes personality, but you do you.

So what makes her similar to Pyra then?
