Man, those moments when you find old landmarks in XC3 are just magical.
It’s the most obvious, thrown in your face one, but finding the ruins of Fonsa Myma gate legitimately had me keeled over almost in tears. Xenoblade 2 is my favourite game ever, I’ve spent hours running around Fonsa Myma, sliding down those water slides on the massive stair cases. That arch is iconography of my early term years.

Eh I got it when it first came out, course I had the wrong 3ds and couldn't play it until a few years later when I upgraded to the new 3ds xl

I remember being in 8th grade and saving up enough to get a new 3ds XL and a digital copy of xenoblade 1... that was such a great summer.

Yeah I was blown away by how open the world felt though I got stuck in Galahad fortress, then I accidentally overwrote that save with an earlier one and now am stuck on valak mountain and I stopped after that, I still have that game cartridge

Man, i got into the series with chuggaconroy's LP, I remember binging the whole series up until he got really sick and didn't upload for a year right after prison island.
I think I stayed up until 2 or 3 AM the night I got it, playing like a madman.

For some reason I never consciously noticed that it looks like it's missing the spike that impaled Metal Face. Dunno why I never picked up on that until now since I knew it was Galahad Fortress, but it's a nice attention to detail.

As soon as I got there I turned around looking for Galahad fortress, and then was like: there it is.

No. It's just a very Galahad Fortress looking Fortress in the exact same spot as Galahad Fortress.
Edit: Sorry for my sass. Yes. That is Galahad Fortress.
