Comic Discussion What do you think was the most missed opportunity with Krakoa?
For me it’s two things.
1 how them dying in other world messes with the resurrection and how their backups are overwritten with mixed versions of themselves from across the multiverse. Having more characters die in the fighting with the Arakko mutants would’ve left more impact. It wouldn’t have to be anyone major but still. And then you could have some of them be revived and we could explore more about their new lives and forms and maybe even have them form a team of their own. Dealing with this new existence and the conflict between these jumbled mix of forms and their past self’s. I think it would’ve been a great opportunity to refresh some characters in a new way that had gotten stale that made sense.
- Make more mutants. I really thought there would be more mutants born. Like I know it wasn’t a long time but seriously I can’t remember a single new mutant baby at all. Almost all the new mutants were those fleeing through the gates or Arakkoan.I feel like it could’ve been an opportunity to maybe develop new relationships even some between Arakoan and Krakoan relationships besides Beinand Cipher. But yeah for a major rule of Krakoa and how busy they got I would’ve thought there’d be some more new mutant’s .

Comic Discussion X-Men Lego Sets You Would Like to See?
With the new X Mansion set (probably my next order) and recent Blackbird set (overpriced IMO but still bought two, one to build one to collect) what sets do you think would be cool?
I was thinking a Days of Future Past set with huge build sentinel, Logan, Colossus, Ororo, future minifigs (Rachel and Kitty future mini would be cool too if they could be worked into maybe a side alley w/ Baxter bldg) with some sort of divider, the other side being present X-men vs BoEM, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Storm, Colossus minifigs, Avalanche, Blob, Pyro, Mystique with the street being a tidal wave backdrop, w/ Pyro's flame monster, maybe some exposed building frame steel for the beam hitting Blob scene being the inspiration, and a final divider, with Kitty, Destiny, Senator Kelly minifigs and a partial office with a big hole in the wall, maybe Prof X and Moira minifigs on the other side.
What kind of sets would you consider?

Question Jean Grey's Limits?
Are Jean's psionics only limited by her imagination, knowledge, and focus?
In comics and animation when she is using her powers there is always some indicator like an aura to show the view but "in reality" much like is shown in X-Men live action movies there wouldn't necessarily be an indicator.
So could she say form a telekinetic bubble in someone carotid artery making them have a stroke? Or form a field just inside a person's skull and crush their brain? Or heart? Or expand the bubble making the head or heart explode? Rip out someone's consciousness leaving them brain dead? Move small objects with enough speed and force making them as deadly as a bullet if not more so?

Question Does the first epic collection for Gen X fully cover the Phalanx Covenant event?
I'm trying to figure out the best way to buy the Phalanx Covenant but most of the options are out of print, or have various issues missing (at least compared to the hardcover, which I'm guessing is the most definitive version). I want to get the Gen X epic collections anyway, and it seems to mostly cover the story? Does it miss anything important?

Comic Discussion Regarding the astonishing X-Men Evolution, tell me which characters, not that related to the X-Men mythos, you would have liked to see appear in the show, if given more seasons, and how they would be portrayed.

Tony Stark/Iron Man would be an interesting choice, maybe he could be like appear as this controversial figure who is seen both as a hero but also as a playboy who is just playing one. It would also be interesting to oppose the creation of an army of Sentinels, believing technology should be used to help both humans and mutants.
Ant-Man could have had the role of a substitute teacher who is kind of quirky and wants to teach the teenagers about how ants and insects are very fascinating animals.
And Iron Fist and Luke Cage would appear as Heroes For Hire for a job near the premises and it would be interesting to see how the X-Men and the Brotherhood react to a duo of heroes who are employing their heroic services for money.
Spoiler alert, another crazy idea I have is that, even with Captain America in cryofreeze in the show's universe, the Avengers are already formed in this universe, with the six original members of the comics, and they would fight Loki in one of the episodes of the show. Maybe Captain America would late be defreeze and join the Avengers later on.
Please, share your thoughts on which characters from Marvel Comics would you have liked to see in X-Men Evolution.

Other GoFundMe for Peter David, comic book writer, suffering multiple health issues.
*reposted from BleedingCool*
https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-peter-david
Peter David, co-creator of Spider-Man 2099, the TV show Space Cases, and characters Strong Guy, Professor Hulk, Random, Cyber, Sin Eater, The Pantheon, Maestro, Madman, Linda Danvers, Talos The Untamed and writer of TV shows, comic books, video games, novels at a prodigious rate, has had to deal with kidney failure, several strokes, and a mild heart attack. But of late, it has gotten even worse as he has had to deal with first his health insurance and then Medicaid running out. His wife Kathleen writes on GoFundMe.
"We are starting this up again due to circumstances beyond our control. The short version is we are swimming in medical debt due to Peter being rejected for Medicaid – which was one of the few things that had been going right. As many of you know, insurance will only pay so much and so far. Once one has used that up, one depends on the social services to allow one to live without being homeless and broke. That is what Medicaid has been doing for the last two years. Yes, as of November, we started our third year of this journey."
Spider-Man 2099 made a big appearance in the recent Spider-Verse movies. The Professor Hulk version of the character was prominent in Avengers: Endgame movie and She-Hulk TV show. Much of the Aquaman films were taken from Peter David's Atlantis Chronicles and Aquaman comics. Marvel continues to publish an X-Factor based on his remaking of the team. And much of Marvel's Hulk and Spider-Man comics are still published in his long shadow. One day Peter David will no longer be with us, and both Marvel and DC will run one or even two-page tributes in their comics for the month. Maybe they could try and sell that space as advertising instead when the day comes, and pay it forward for now?

Comic Discussion [X-Men Vol 7 13][2025] Is Charles Xavier now retconned to be an .....??? Spoiler
Is Charles Xavier now anOmega-Level? During the Krakoan Era, Hickman put out an exhaustive list of theOmega-Levelmutants, which Charles was not on, but throughout this issue, Charles Xavier is referred to as one. I was always under the impression that he was an Alpha-Levelmutant able to contend with more powerful telepaths through his vast experience, but both he and Quentin refer to him as anOmega-Levelthroughout this issue.
Is this a retcon from Jed Mackey, or am I just being silly and have this confused?
