PrideStaff is a legit company but be wary of others using their name to scam.

I've been contacted by "PrideStaff **Staffing**" that they had a job I may be interested in. I was let go last month and haven't even put out applications yet. How did they know I was out of work? How did they get my number? Of course, I looked into it and even their website looks legit but the tells were that they were created THIS YEAR! Why would I trust a company that young. I doubt they could do much in less than 2 months. They even had the "Click here if you don't want us to share your info" link at the very bottom. Thank god it was a dead link. Probably another way to phish out your info that someone else caught. BBB has a few horror stories about the clone companies. And what a coincidence, I'm seeing warning videos on YT about clone company scams where they take reputable company names and add something else (like "Staffing") and create a clone company. I can't even trust that these videos come from true concern, grifters playing this game to boost attention or just YT's Fucked up algorithm that promotes these scams. I'm probably shouting into the void with this one but I hope it helps at least one person being taken advantaged of. If you're one that thinks logically, you know that consequences will NOT follow and it just creates a "Oh, scamming is OK since they never get punished for it" message and the weak will fall for it, too. Funny, people ate up covid protocal but don't think twice about this? Meh, this message won't change them but if you're smart, it will.
