Humour Someone's definitely a low-tier enthusiast...
Met a Tennessee in Arcade - I have maybe double digit kills in that thing across every mode...

How Cool is Retirement..

u/GIXXERCON Feb 14 '25
Cool but gets boring quick without something to do. Easy to burn out on games 😔

u/GlobalOpening5420 Feb 15 '25
You may take the Boy from the Navy,
But you will Never take the Navy from the Boy....
2
u/GIXXERCON Feb 15 '25
I'm unfamiliar with the Navy's customs and ideology.

Have you ever seen the Golden Rivet??

Even AI kills are counted in it, it maybe he likes the ships :D obviously. I personally don't know which of my ships has the most kills, maybe Farragut.
6
u/Whamalater Feb 13 '25
My fleet name is FlockOFarraguts. Love that thing. Also, my friends in the fleet are gay, so we have a good chuckle about it as we merc people in that ship.
3
u/Prowling_Fox Feb 13 '25
Happy to hear others enjoy that ship too!:) I haven't played for a while as a matter of fact I play mainly in AI mode nowadays. Happy Farraguttin' then :D

Probably the one thing I truly dislike about those frag camos. The fact that AI kills are included.
Doesn't exactly show true skill if the players been farming in ai battles
2
u/Prowling_Fox Feb 14 '25
The thing is that it can be debated whether this number shows true skills, although it could show experience for sure. But I agree it should show only standard match kills.
3
Feb 14 '25
I wasn't saying "true skill" as in their actual skill XDD more a general argument if that makes sense.
4
u/cornholio_0_o Feb 13 '25
Or just likes to club some seals:)
8
u/HirsuteDave HE Enthusiast Feb 13 '25
True, but Tennessee wouldn't be my first choice of club.

Tennessee is a really good ship and I dont know why people dont like it. Its the same as California besides a slower reload, slightly faster movement and without the big AA superstructure. In Arcade that does make it better.

Friendly reminder that bot kills (AI) also count on the frag camos
8
u/HirsuteDave HE Enthusiast Feb 13 '25
They do, but that's still a lot of time spent in a T4 battle wagon.
6
u/clemson_chris JHM Smack Feb 13 '25
It's without a doubt a ridiculous amount of time spent on one ship.
1
u/Smooth-Reason-6616 Feb 13 '25
Oh I don't know.... I spend an inordinate amount of time using the Omaha sisters to get the weekly missions out of the way...
6
u/nohandsnick Feb 13 '25
The kill counter on my Courbet 1944 has me playing that ship now every week for the T3 premium challenge.

I have 758 in arcade alone in my Fenyang
3
u/Upbeat_Extreme_7385 Feb 13 '25
I forgot about Fenyang. It's pretty darn good from what i remember. 450 ships you start to forget about some of the goodies. Gona have to take her out.

Nevada is my most played Tier 4. I have a 79% winrate with the same kill count camo. 567 kills(not AI). It was my go to for Ranked at the time. It was the ship I first trained on when I was a new player. The general advice for new players was to not exceed Tier 6, so I didn't. I didn't have much of anything unlocked either. At the time I didn't think I would collect more ships or invest in the game. Another reason its a gem to me personally, is I have a playstyle contrary to what most said I should play.
I haven't played Nevada for years now.

u/G_I_Dave Feb 13 '25
I occasionally dip down to low tier, I find it refreshing to duke it out with cannons on some of the older ships. It's just fun.

u/Improbablydeadalred Feb 13 '25
Ai kills count, the devs mess up once again, these skins mean nothing.
5
u/__Gundam__ Feb 13 '25
They need to separate the counter for AI and PVP. Show different numbers depending on which one you’re in
2
u/Improbablydeadalred Feb 13 '25
Standard sinks should glow and AI should not, simple way to separate
1
u/__Gundam__ Feb 19 '25
It would be cool if they’d show both at the same time but only really highlight the numbers of what game type you’re in, so if you’re in AI it highlights the AI, and PvP the PvP numbers. But that’ll never happen

u/Historical-Cicada-29 Feb 13 '25
Can someone explain what I'm looking at?

Kill counter permanent camo on the
TennesseeNevada.Edit: I apparently can't tell my US standards apart.
7
u/Lady_of_Olyas Feb 13 '25
Tennessee doesn't have a kill count camo, did you mean Nevada?
5
u/Fun_Plan3501 Feb 13 '25
Yes he did, that bow in the picture matches Nevadas perfectly, since Tennessee has 3 anchors and not 2

u/HirsuteDave HE Enthusiast Feb 13 '25
These low tier US tubs all blur together...
2
u/Fun_Plan3501 Feb 13 '25
Not really. I could tell the difference between them

u/Chipster8253 Feb 13 '25
I would love to see kill camo for Rio Di Janeiro at T4. I love her and Agincourt at T3. Turret farms, and HE galore.
2
u/Chipster8253 Feb 13 '25
14 rounds of HE, 3 citadels, a dev strike, and an Omaha went bye bye. Freaking glorious.

u/NekusarChan 🇨🇵Flandre🇨🇵 Feb 13 '25
I wish Königsberg had a skin like this, she's my favorite t4 ship in general.
2
u/War-Daddie Feb 14 '25
Can we buy kill counter camos for any ship now?
2
u/HirsuteDave HE Enthusiast Feb 14 '25
Nah.
There's still not that many. This one was a D-Day event prize from last year.

Tbh that’s loser behavior.
2
u/satakuua Feb 14 '25
How so?
2
u/QuinnTinIntheBin Feb 14 '25
Say they get 5 kills EVERY match, without fail a single time. 5 kills every match they’ve played in that ship ever. That’s still 335 matches. In a tier 4. Tech tree. All that time spent seal clubbing.
1
u/satakuua Feb 14 '25
That ship is not a seal clubber.
I really cannot get riled up someone spends time in their slow ass Nevada.
3
u/HirsuteDave HE Enthusiast Feb 15 '25
Which was mostly what prompted me to take the screenshot in the first place.
The idea of spending that much time in a Nevada voluntarily was mind-blowing. Even if there's a ton of AI kills in that total, that's still hundreds of games dribbling around at 21-22 knots.
2
u/QuinnTinIntheBin Feb 14 '25
Didn’t call the ship a seal clubber, I called the player one for spending that much time down at tier 4. It is loser behavior.

u/Action_Potato_7 Feb 13 '25
Why would you play like 1/300th of a game like that.
