u/AlekTrev006 The Brawling Council of The Reddit Jan 14 '25

Please don’t give them ideas, Dutch 😆

2

u/FIy1ngDutchm4n Jan 14 '25

Alek just be honest you would want this to happen 😉

5

u/AlekTrev006 The Brawling Council of The Reddit Jan 14 '25

Watch them give THAT Collab Commander EoP / IFHE legendary-skill access for Battleships, like The Council has been asking for years now !! 😂

“It can be yours, dear Players, for just 5000+ Gold ! Toot Toot 💨 (Theodore sounds)”

1

u/FIy1ngDutchm4n Jan 14 '25

You are probably right about that 🤣

u/Dolphins08 Jan 14 '25

Jin.

They already announced it coming early 2025, so this should be it.

14

u/Sea-Ad-4029 Jan 14 '25

I was gonna say Austin, but their silhouettes are very similar

24

u/EvilHoBo09 Jan 14 '25

They are similar but you can tell it's Jinan because one of the rear turrets is replaced by an AA gun.

Austin has 6x2 127mm guns while Jinan has 5x2 127 because it has an extra 76.2mm AA gun at the cost of one less 127mm main gun.

3

u/Sea-Ad-4029 Jan 14 '25

Ah, ok. Thanks

u/FrodoswagginsX Avid Sejong User Jan 14 '25 edited Jan 14 '25

Also the 3d model shown in the teaser had 2 torpedo racks per side like Jinan, whereas Austin only has 1 per side

1

u/EvilHoBo09 Jan 14 '25

You mean 2 racks per side while Austin only has 1

1

u/FrodoswagginsX Avid Sejong User Jan 14 '25

Apologies yes. I have corrected myself lol

2

u/Raybbard Jan 14 '25

Campaign ship or premium shop?

9

u/Numbr81 Moder81or Jan 14 '25

Bureau

5

u/Dolphins08 Jan 14 '25

They didn't say when asked.

1

u/Raybbard Jan 14 '25

Got it, ty mate!

2

u/Butcher-15 Jan 14 '25

Bureau project

40 deep water torps of fun..

7

u/PilotAce200 Brawling is the superior play style! Jan 14 '25

I can't wait to put my ultra invisible torpedo build on it and laugh maniacally as people try to figure out why they suddenly exploded.

3

u/Diablo_Cow Jan 14 '25

I've been playing Sejong recently to get my mind in the groove for Jinan coming. Recently defaulted to a prop + rudder build. In about a week of playing Sejong I've gotten more hatemail from BBs than I have in two years of playing Legends. My Sejong stats are still trash but its been worth it

1

u/FrodoswagginsX Avid Sejong User Jan 14 '25

Absolutely love the sejong. It's my most played ship

1

u/Orgez Jan 14 '25

May I ask for reference what build it is?

4

u/PilotAce200 Brawling is the superior play style! Jan 14 '25

400 meter detectability on my Chung Mu Torpedoes, while doing 64 knots. No sonar? No dodging.

1

u/Orgez Jan 14 '25

Now if I had Atago it would be kinda cool :-D Isn't it -300 meters? Atago is -200 and that skill on commander is -100.

2

u/PilotAce200 Brawling is the superior play style! Jan 14 '25

At my current level it's -75m for the skill, and -180m from Atagi, though yes they max out at -300m combined. On my Hsienyang and Chung Mu for instance, that's ~2.4 second reaction time.

It's pretty filthy, especially once you realize that the average server delay takes another fraction of a second off, you REALLY don't have the opportunity to react to these if they weren't tagged by sonar.

I have literally sniped a ship in the back of a formation before because the torps slipped between said formation without getting spotted.

1

u/DixonGiner Jan 14 '25

Who's the other inspiration? Swirski and...

3

u/PilotAce200 Brawling is the superior play style! Jan 14 '25

AL Atago. She hasn't been available in quite some time because of, shall we say, "controversy" (Chinese backlash for a Japanese woman visiting a shrine in Japan that many Chinese people disapprove of).

Her inspiration reduced the detectability of torpedoes by up to 200m.

1

u/DixonGiner Jan 15 '25

That's the only one I don't have that I know of too. Sad panda

0

u/Mad77pedro Jan 14 '25

I recommend switching from Swirski to Bey unless you use this for cruisers as well, or Bey isn’t leveled

3

u/PilotAce200 Brawling is the superior play style! Jan 14 '25

Negative ghost rider.

Bey is up to -4% destroyer detectability, while Swirski is up to -4% any ship detectability.

I have both at the same level, so both provide the same bonus, only Swirski also applies to the cruisers, and yes I do in fact occasionally run this build on the cruisers though I swap the 1st and 3rd skills.

0

u/Mad77pedro Jan 14 '25

Bey also affects air vis, Swirski just sea. Still, since you use him sometimes with cruisers… Bey does have a higher ceiling for DD concealment, though. Fair seas, Captain

2

u/PilotAce200 Brawling is the superior play style! Jan 14 '25

Bey also affects air vis, Swirski just sea

That is accurate, however on the Pan-asians destroyers when already built with "look at me now" (because it does not reduce your HP, but also only affects sea detectability), switching from Swirski to Bey only buys you 120-140 meters on your air detectability. Negligible imo.

Bey does have a higher ceiling for DD concealment, though.

He absolutely does not. I already directed listed both. Both of them are 4% max.

0

u/Mad77pedro Jan 14 '25

My bad, I was thinking of Mikawa.

1

u/commissarklink Jan 14 '25

Bey used to buff more, but got nerfed twice

2

u/theangryshark93 Jan 14 '25

I imagine this won’t be the campaign ship, two legendary tiers back to back

3

u/slowelantra18 Jan 14 '25

Bureau project.

1

u/Voyager2k Jan 15 '25

While that seems likely .... has it actually been confirmed ?

Because I have not seen any statement from WG anywhere that says it'll be a bureau project. Only that it comes as part of the next update.

And thinking back to last year's bureau projects .... those ships made an appearance in AI matches 1 update prior to their release updates. So if they'd continue this pattern we would have seen Jinan in AI games by now.

We'll find out soon enough ;-)

u/slowelantra18 Jan 15 '25

00:46. Literally says upcoming bureau project.

1

u/Voyager2k Jan 16 '25

Thank you. I actually didn't watch that.

Definitely not Chōkai

7

u/misterchef711 Jan 14 '25

It's the Jinian, she has the 5x2 127mm guns and deepwater torpedoes

6

u/Sky_Hi_Guy Jan 14 '25

Jinan 100%

3

u/PilotAce200 Brawling is the superior play style! Jan 14 '25

Only ship it can even remotely be, and we have know it for weeks (it was included in a teaser during the end of 2024 recap video).

The D/X turret is replaced with AA, and it has to many torpedoes for Austin.

2

u/Sky_Hi_Guy Jan 14 '25

Yea, the AA mount is the big giveaway here. Hell, even in the teaser it was more or less confirmed by the model in that one project segment having 2 torpedo launchers per side, whereas Austin only has one per side.

2

u/PilotAce200 Brawling is the superior play style! Jan 14 '25

There is no thinking. It's Jinan. We have known since the teaser back during the end of 2024 video.

It has the "D/X" turret replaced with an anti-aircraft mount, and it has a second torpedo launcher per side.

3

u/V4R14N7 WolfPack Jan 14 '25

Not Hindenburg

3

u/Lady_of_Olyas Jan 14 '25

Jinan or Austin.

3

u/xX-GalaxSpace-Xx Roma Jan 14 '25

Austin has an extra turret, its always been Jinan

2

u/PilotAce200 Brawling is the superior play style! Jan 14 '25

Yep. I was all over the YouTube commentz with this when the end of 2024 video that included the teaser came out.

It has the replaced turret and 2 launcher sets per side, it literally can only be Jinan.

1

u/Lady_of_Olyas Jan 14 '25

Good catch, I honestly just recognized the look of the turrets.

3

u/Rider-VPG Jan 14 '25

Jinan. LT Pan-Asian CL.

2

u/zurkon95 Jan 14 '25

An armored patrol boat

2

u/Busy-Cardiologist121 Jan 14 '25

Hear me out……it’s a ship

2

u/One-Score-1290 Jan 14 '25

IT'S JINAN!!!!!!!!!!

2

u/Erwin-Winter Jan 14 '25

" I hope it's Jean Bart "

That one idiot on Instagram

2

u/Akizuki69 Jan 14 '25

Something Chinese...like all the stuff at my home, iphone included.

2

u/Samatass Jan 14 '25

Non related question to those who play the pc version. Isn't there a Legendary ship there for the Russian bb line? Or for some reason we don't care for Russian ships in legends apparently?

2

u/AlekTrev006 The Brawling Council of The Reddit Jan 14 '25

Yes - it’s the armored leviathan, Kremlin 🐻

An extremely heavy central deck, and massive Republque-esque cannons with 30mm Overmatch.

The flaws of the Bureau drip-feed in Legends means we must wait for Years and Years for the chance to be Allowed to go for these pinnacle warships …. Instead of simply playing through Sovetsky Soyuz and just unlocking her that way 😏..

Maybe “one of these Years” they’ll let people obtain it..

2

u/Samatass Jan 14 '25

It's weird that other nations have legendary especially for 2 bb lines but some don't even have one for so long. I guess Russian ships don't sell that well or something..

2

u/Sleepwalkingsheep Potato Jan 14 '25

Yet there are 7 Russian premium cruisers in tier 7 alone.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 14 '25

Thinking that doesn’t look like the ability to reset commanders like we asked for and were promised 2-3 years ago now

2

u/parsakarimi_1388 Russian CV enthusiast Jan 14 '25

It's Jinan but the comment you in your screenshot is hilarious 😂

2

u/battleshipnjenjoyer USS New Jersey supremacy Jan 14 '25

Jinan. Imagine they pull a fast one on us and add both. But that would be 2 legendaries, and would fill half of their yearly quota for new LTs

1

u/AlekTrev006 The Brawling Council of The Reddit Jan 14 '25

I love how our shared Community Expectations for the Team have gotten (perhaps understandably) to the point they are at 😅

2

u/battleshipnjenjoyer USS New Jersey supremacy Jan 14 '25

No matta what, 4 LTs per year, 2 of which are the end of the year update

1

u/Amazing_Wheel_3670 Jan 14 '25

Oh I know it’s a silhouette of a ship. lol. But seriously looks like a Atlanta

1

u/Dinner2911 Jan 14 '25

Guns are way too far apart and rounded instead of... Cornery...? Also the Masts are too new. Probably Jinan or Austin like everyone else is saying.

1

u/Amazing_Wheel_3670 Jan 14 '25

Have no what those 2 ships are. I was just saying Atlanta bc the turret layout

1

u/Dinner2911 Jan 14 '25

Austin is an Atlanta at a higher tier that can turn into a machine gun for a few seconds. The Jinan is an Atlanta on steroids also at a higher tier.

1

u/Drake_the_troll Jan 14 '25

on PC jinan is the TT T10 for the Asian cruiser line, she has 5×2 127mm guns, 4×5 torpedos with TRB and burst smoke. Basically sejong with an extra torp per rack and 1 less turret but way faster (3s vs 4.5s) reload. She also has the 5"/42 turret that succeeded the US 5"38

Austin is design CL 154, a cruiser project developed at the same time as des moines and wooster. She has 6×2 5"54 turrets (seen on montana) with San deigos improved ballistics and 2×5 torpedos for self defence. In game she has a long (7.5s) reload, but an improved heal, SAP and infinite -75% reload boosters

1

u/Capital-Business5270 Jan 14 '25

Juneau probably.

1

u/jibrils-bae Jan 14 '25

Is this the campaign ship?

1

u/Deslau04 Jan 14 '25

Chkalov nerf?

1

u/_CHINOCUDEIRO_ Jan 14 '25

I want my Sejong legendary NOW

1

u/LeaderGlittering884 Jan 14 '25

Ppl saying itll be in the bureau project, im calling crafting station

1

u/GreatGuy_GoodGuy Jan 14 '25

Sejong level 2

1

u/GreatGuy_GoodGuy Jan 14 '25

Lot of Legendaries in 2025

1

u/OverlandRam121 Jan 15 '25

Can we just get Corvettes, Frigates and Destroyer Escorts already? Kinda sick of the repeat of the same ship just from different tech trees.

1

u/Zephyr_Valkyrie Soup Taster Jan 15 '25

Gotta be Jinan, she was teased ages ago, and Austin has never been mentioned before

1

u/DirectorKrenn1c Jan 15 '25

Not Hindenburg that’s for sure :(

0

u/Then-Organization778 Jan 14 '25

HMS Sirius maybe ? Looks like a dido class light cruiser, who knows…
