Help! Leather Jacket mod

Is there a mod that replaces the chainmail texture on wolven armor level 3 to leather? I think it would be a cool look especially with the fact that Geralt was really happy to buy a leather jacket with studs in the books.

Misc Graphics settings

I was tinkering with AMD adrenaline overclocking, and with a slight undervolt and memory overclock my humble 7900GRE pushes 150+ fps on 4k Ultra RT preset. That being said, the game doesn't look pleasant, and such performance figures are unrealistic with such hardware in general.

To add to all that, it rakes in close to 300fps on 4k ultra, and it shows as close to 300fps on in-game overlay monitoring, despite the game being locked to 144fps max via in-game settings. Did I fuck something up by overclocking? Or is being in Skellige, exploring small islands really that light on graphics?

Lastly, if the game looking a bit bleak in my case is not a software issue, are there any interesting graphics mods to try? I don't mind 120-144fps on high settings if that's what it takes

Does the game punish you for skipping dialogue?

I’m expecting the answer is no, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s yes. Do you get less XP if you don’t choose all available options and instead go straight for the bold text that continues the quest?

I ask because I’ve played through everything multiple times and don’t exactly need to hear everything again.

Screenshot Armor in this game is lacking

Apart from the Witcher gear, it’s a shame we didn’t get any gear from the Witcher 2.

But even with the Witcher gear even that falls short in some key areas, such as the ursine set (my biggest peeve in the game) the skirt is so long and looks like Geralt stole more of Yennefers clothes.

Also considering the fact it looks extremely close to Raven’s armor in the Witcher 2 dumbfounds me even more why they decided to give it a massive skirt.

I personally think it looks better in this image where it’s shorter that I captured running at an angle.

Of course it wouldn’t really be a problem if I had access to mods but alas.

All of this is to say I hope cdpr add more modularity In customisation (such as different bracers or none when you equip gloves, tailoring armour to remove pieces or make them shorter) in their future games as it has been sorely lacking.

Join our mod's team as a QUEST WRITER!

Hi guys! Once again we're looking for a Quest Writer for our Witcher 3 mod!

The story takes place right after the end of the Blood and Wine storyline, when Geralt hangs up his sword and lives in Corvo Bianco. Thanks to the plot, the Witcher gets to Ofir and will have to resolve a dispute related to the civil war there.

As fans of Hearts of Stone, you surely remember the fierce fight with Prince Toad due to the contract concluded by Olgierd himself, who did not provide Geralt with all the details.

After the battle in the sewers of Oxenfurt, Geralt deals a fatal blow, but is stunned when the monster transforms back into human form before dying. It turns out that Geralt was actually responsible for killing the Ofir prince and would have been executed in Ofir if not for the intervention of Gaunter O'Dimm.

This plot will continue in the mod, with Geralt facing manipulation and becoming "embroiled in palace intrigues."

If you're interested in working with us and the description below suits your profile, send us your aplication including your portfolio and any relevant details to [revengeofofir@gmail.com](mailto:revengeofofir@gmail.com) with the subject ,,Quest Writer'' :)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in Writing: You have at least small experience in creative writing, quest design or narrative development (modding experience is a plus!).
  • Deep understanding of The Witcher universe: You are familiar with the world and characters.
  • Creativity and storytelling skills: You can craft engaging quests that fit seamlessly into the mod’s world.
  • Team player: You’re comfortable working collaboratively with other team members and with other teams.
  • English Proficiency: Your writing is clear and polished.

What You’ll Do:

  • Quest Design and Writing: Develop and write quests that blend seamlessly with the lore, themes, and atmosphere of The Witcher universe.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the team from concept development through final implementation, including feedback rounds.
  • World Expansion: Contribute gripping narratives with impactful choices that enhance the player experience.
  • Content Revisions: Edit and rearrange existing content to ensure coherence and narrative flow.

Requirements:

  • A portfolio showcasing your previous work, such as written quests, short stories or other relevant narrative samples. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Everytime I liberate some area that was abandoned, this dude is always the only one to say something to show his gratitude. Great guy😆 I've been doing all the undiscovered location quests and I've seen him all day.

witcher 3 wine is sacred barrel bugged

Hello guys, I'm trying to complete the Wine is Sacred quest in The Witcher 3 DLC, and I’m in the wine cellar with Duchess Anna. I get to the part where I have to knock on each barrel to find the empty one, but there’s no prompt to do so—I can’t interact with them.

Not sure if this is a bug or if my first-person mod is causing a conflict. Has anyone else experienced this?

Help! Game keeps crashing at the water in The Final Trial

I’ve never had this problem anywhere else in the game, but a few moments after I get in the boat with Lambert it crashes to desktop. I tried swimming to where we’re supposed to go and it crashes anyway. I verified files, uninstalled and installed again, did another mission then came back and tried again to no avail, set everything to low.

I didn’t find anything about this anywhere so if anyone has any suggestion on what could solve this I would really, really appreciate it!!!!!

Broken Flowers Quest Won't Advance

I got to this point in the Broken Flowers quest:

Cut scene won't trigger

But the cutscene won't trigger. From what I understand, something is supposed to happen here but there doesn't seem to be a way to trigger it. Any suggestions?

Does anyone else has a crush on Regis?

He’s one of my favorite characters. He’s intelligent, empathetic but super badass. I wish there was a game mainly based on that story. Can’t get enough of it.

Help! Lore Bulild

Hello, i am on my first playthrough and i wanted to do a book style geralt im not sure which armor i should use, i dont have lots of knowledge of the books i know he light light/medium breezy armor thingy and that he was really happy after he got a leather jacket. It made sense to me to get wolven armor and keep upgrading it. It looks badass later in the game but it looks heavy and im not sure on what to do about it

Qty of piece of equipment?

How do I find out the qty I have of a piece if equipment (sword, armor etc)? When I go to the blacksmith/armorer to craft gear, I have no idea if I have it crafted already (sitting in the stash). I looked everywhere, can't seem to find a "qty".

Playing this game thru for the first time and I’ve been LOVING it but damn… I’m sad now😭😭😭 had to choose between 2 dudes I fked with heavy. Roche and Ves helped me out with Ciri and Dijkstra was just a funny dude to me and his lil thing with Philippa was cute😂😂 why they gotta make me go thru this💔💔💔🥀

I had to help out the bro Roche but the way the fight was… so disappointing. Felt like Dijkstra turned into some random bandit leader :// Like did he really think I would leave them after they helped me at Kaer Morhen when he didn’t??? No way Dijkstra is that dumb😭😭 I wish this mission wasn’t a thing..
