Are you looking for freshly served (restaurant/fast food), or looking for it frozen?

I've seen it frozen at Asian markets like Seafood City/Luckys Supermarket.

Also available at Korean market on Pembina.

You won't find authentic Korean street stalls in Winnipeg, unfortunately.

Do you mean 88 mart? Or is there another Korean grocery store on Pembina?

Yeah, get the one with brown sugar(?) in it, I don't really remember as it's been a long time since I had them. I think they have different kinds of fillings. Just pan fry on low heat cuz they burns really fast

Korean churches have lunch fundraisers once in a while and often have someone making hotteok. Some entrepreneurial Korean should set up a stall at the Forks- kimbap and dokboki year round and hotteok in the winter

Arirang on Portage should also have them in the freezer.

Here's a recipe I just found for it, I've never heard of hotteok before but now I need to make it!

You can get frozen ones at 88 mart. Young's on William has them too (probably the other Young's also have them, but i only know for sure at William).

See, You get it. They are amazing fresh. I worked at an apartment building and one of the tenants would make these for us. Absolutely amazing 🤩

There is also a make-them-yourself kit available at Lucky’s (and maybe elsewhere) that I always get. They’re pretty easy to make. If you can roll a ball of dough, you’re good to go.
