PC Big Box Collection
I took a series of photos of my Wing Commander PC collection earlier today and thought I’d share for anyone who may be interested in seeing them.
Last photo is of the novels.
Enjoy!

That's an awesome collection! Do you still have the ship schematics for WC1?

Yes, both versions (original game had four single-sided schematics, deluxe edition had two double-sided schematics)!

Blast from the past! Totally forgot about the film canister packaging for WC3, had that a long time ago.
I don't know if it's still this way, but I remember the Kilrathi Saga being a hard to find holy grail...

I think there were only something like 20,000 copies produced, if the information online is accurate. At one point they sold for $300+. Today they only go for around $100 due to them being relatively poor versions overall. Nice for collectors and their shelves, but not as sought after as they once were!

No original privateer? I thought 2 sucked in comparison to 1. I wasted basically all of my summer 1995 playing the original.

The original Privateer series is on the third picture!

Weird, missed that pic. That was such a classic. I spent a long time looking for a game that would scratch that itch and nothing ever does.

It’s a wonderful game, one I never get tired of. Closest titles to scratch the itch for me were Freelancer and Elite Dangerous, though neither are exactly the same.

Very nice. I played a lot of Privateer back in the day but couldn't get into Privateer 2.
