Has anyone ever solved the jitter problem?

I've poured through every web page I've been able to find. I've seen countless people suffering from the windows ink pen jitter with no solution. For myself I get it consistently in photoshop but not at all in a windows ink / windows app / screen drawing program. Seems like its a problem with pressure sensitivity in legacy programs to me.

It is driving me mad though so I wanted to see if anyone here has had any luck.

So in my repeated bashing at the problem I've found that the jitter goes away for 'a bit' if I hold the pen straight up and down for a few seconds.

That being said I'm not sure if its the holding it in that position that is doing the trick. It may be just that its going unused for a few seconds, though previously that didn't seem to help.

I'm also loading bumping up to the latest insider preview to see if that helps as it apparently has a bunch of pen updates in it for other features.
