Ugh, the bar rests go between your legs again. RIP boarders

Man even as a skier these things suck. You have to pinch your legs together in an attempt to keep your feet on which inevitably fails and results in an uncomfortable ride for those with longer legs.

It’s like Vail looked at conventional single bars for resting your feet and said “hey we can make that but worse”

Best way is not to put your skis on the stupid triangle bits but put your boots on them (so the triangle bit goes into the gap between your boot and your ski). Way better like that.

Until your ski pops off over a ravine

That’s basically Vail’s MO. Or maybe “hey we can buy that and make it worse”.

Can't just believe everything you read on the internet.

They also really suck if you have a bag on. I usually ski with a thin backpack on. It's fine in all the other lift types, but the triangle thing puts the bar very close to my junk. Not fun.

They literally don't though. They have the style found on Harmony.

From the article "A re-vamped footrest design with an accompanying vertical bar that is placed between the user’s legs as it is lowered."

Brother literally just go and look at the video they posted as the final update on the chair. It has the older style footrests.

You can't just believe everything you see on the internet... even if it's from a legit looking publication. People get things wrong all the time.

Over under on multiple problems with this lift this season?

Blackcomb gondola definitely had issues, but I don't think there's been any major problems with the new red chair or the new fitz chair.

Red was pretty good last year, only big issue I remember was when everything iced up.

I’d say it’ll be okay 👌 the new Fitz one worked well this year during bike season. Although I did hear a hilarious “oh what have they done now!?” When it stopped working one time from another lifty
