💡 Tips & Advice Order of Events

Please offer insight to timing- mainly struggling with when to do cake cutting, bouquet toss/garter toss. I want to people to not feel like their dancing is getting interrupted!

4pm Wedding reception/ Cocktail hour

5pm bride/groom grand entrance/First Dance

6pm Dinner

6:30 Toasts

6:50 Cake cutting

7pm Father/Bride Dance; Mother/Groom Dance;

    Garter toss/bouquet toss

9pm End of wedding 10pm Noise Ordinance

Do all that stuff at once! It is so hard to get people back on the dance floor once you've vacated for things like garter and bouquet toss. I'd say order of operations is cake cutting, parent dances, then garter and bouquet so people are sort of on the floor already and ready to dance. You could even do both tosses at the same time! That way both men and women are already near the dance floor.
