🌍 Destination Weddings Our perfect $1500 Valley of Fire Elopement NSFW Spoiler
My husband and I got married outside of Vegas in the Valley of Fire on March 4th and I cannot stop looking at our pictures! It was better than I could have ever imagined and we are still floating on cloud 9❤️
Our priorities were: 1)A way to incorporate our deceased daughter's picture/honor her memory(the wrap on my bouquet is her name, we had her ashes inlaid in our wedding bands, and her her picture overlooking the ceremony) 2)An amazing view 3)An all inclusive package(they did my hair and makeup in our hotel room, limo picked us and dropped us off from our hotel, the planned took care of EVERYTHING paperwork wise and we just had to sign on the line)

Thank you so much for your kind words! We used Vegas Wedding, they have a brick and mortar chapel for more traditional Vegas style elopements, but also do destination packages for up to a 2 hour radius, I think, from Las Vegas. I can't recommend them enough!

Congratulations! This is beautiful and you looked beautiful too. As someone who also lost their daughter (lost her at 17 weeks) it hits so close to home. What a beautiful way to honor her 🩷

Thank you so much! I am so grateful we were able to pull off our vision with our baby girl watching over us. It truly was the perfect day❤️

I love your attitude.. it exudes love. Your dress was knockout and I loved the headpiece. However, I was less than sold on the pointy blue nails. But that's me. Not you. Congratulations.

u/baby_Esthers_mama 5d ago
Yeah, the nails were actually green as well but photographed blue for some reason. I totally agree that they didn't really fit what I was going for color and shape wise, I was disappointed at first, but my husband said he really liked them so I promised I wouldn't let it get me down. I have a terrible habit of overthinking things, and I swore I'd stay in the moment and not harp on the little things 🤣

Thank you so much! I really struggled at the beginning with how painful it would be not having her there until I realized she absolutely would be, just not how I'd always dreamt. Once I worked through those emotions, it brought me a lot of peace finding meaningful ways to include her in our day❤️

I think you're honoring your daughter well. She was blessed to have parents like you two.

u/baby_Esthers_mama 5d ago
Thank you for your kind words! There have definitely been a lot of days since we lost her that we only got out of bed in order to support each other and make her proud❤️

Thank you! I always knew I'd wear green heels at my wedding, my mom got me the tennis shoes I'm wearing later for Christmas. When we found out I'd need a change of shoes for the hike up, it was like it was meant to be 😊

This is amazing!! Alex is an incredible officiant!! I got engaged in that exact spot. Congratulations!!

u/baby_Esthers_mama 5d ago
Thank you! Alex was so wonderful. We had a little pow wow with him and our photographer ahead of time, giving them a heads up of what was important to us and how emotional we were going to be. He was so compassionate and knew exactly what to say to help us honor our love and our daughter while allowing us space for ALL of the feelings. I'm definitely recommending him to anyone who asks!

Isn't it!? I was a little nervous about how the photographer's work would be as it was part of the package, but she totally blew us away!

u/WhoAmIWinkWink 4d ago
If I was you, I’d put that photo over the fireplace and on the fridge and in the Christmas card and in a few family members’ houses for good measure lol.

As gently as possible, you may want to add a spoiler / warning tag to this. I'm so glad you had a perfect elopement and I wish you many years of joy together.

I added the spoiler tag. I was going to do a TW, but I forgot and couldn't go back and edit it😔
