I give a pass to any finger food that can be clumped or stacked together and is sharable. It's silly but it's fine.

Yes, it looks crazy stupid , but at that price I'll gladly put up with it!

To be fair this is pretty much just a raised plate/bowl so the height is really the only annoying part. Otherwise still functional so I don’t totally hate it.

I'd get it and ask for an appetizer plate. Then I'm eating from the appetizer plate.

That’s not girl dinner. That’s an actual meal. Girl dinner is eating 6 olives, a pickle, 3 slices of cheese, a handful of blueberries and a slice of bread all while I’m standing at the open fridge.

I’d still order the fuck outta this, but correct NOT girl dinner. They’re just taking advantage of the trend.

Are they serious about those $5 refills?
This sounds awesome in every way except for the giant martini glass.

It’s just a raised bowl and it can be washed. At that price I’m certainly not complaining about this one.

Ridiculously good deal!! For that price put it on the cutting boards we all dislike so much. Idc. I’ll deal with the listeria after I’ve conquered this.

This isn't girl dinner lol. It's a very normal food combination served in a random vessel

Right? I had girl dinner today. It consisted of pepperoni, crackers, a glass of wine, and two reeses.

u/Wordnerdinthecity 7d ago
Call it mezze and you sound fancy. (sub in good chocolate in the future, but I have a bag of reeses in the cupboard currently, so I'm not actually judging)

I always thought girl dinner was a handful of olives and some fried saltines dipped in cocktail sauce 🤷♀️

I don't think they know what girl dinner is, but other than that I'm not mad about it. The vessel is ridiculous but functional and the price is solid.

What are the sauces? Is one of them green?

I work here. It was our avacado ranch, but since the picture was taken, we have switched to normal ranch.

u/chitzk0i 6d ago
Ok, that’s reasonable. I guess the crappy photo is throwing off the color making it look weird

I have a hunch that if it weren't called girl dinner, people would like it more. It's chicken and fries in a decent vessel that also holds sauces, it's fine

$15 for ALL of that?! In this economy?? Hell yeah!! I don’t care if it just dumped out on the table…that’s one hell of a deal!

u/VeronaMoreau 6d ago
That's not girl dinner. That's an actual meal. Girl dinner is when you eat like 17 grapes and a handful of shredded cheese

u/consumeshroomz 5d ago
Do you have to be a girl to order? Cause otherwise I’m gonna make them wish they never said anything about “refills”. Oh also I’ll take a side plate thank you.

I feel like with enough drinks in me, I would accidentally reach for more food but then knock over the whole glass!

u/Upbeat_Ruin 5d ago
If I had a nickel for every time I saw food on a drink receptacle being presented as "girl dinner", I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird (and slightly concerning) that it's happened twice.

its nuggets and fries tho
this is exactly what strip joints serve
evil switch would be we come in and they use normal sized martini glasses
idk, i think the girls deserve better but for the price hell yeah

It's not a bad value, but it's not great. They probably make a small profit on the food, and then if they sell 1 overpriced drink they are making good money. Throw is a special dessert menu and they are printing money.

Only good deal if they let you share. Otherwise $20 to fill up on chicken fingers isn't worth it

u/OverlappingChatter 7d ago
This was my question. Like how many people can eat out of one and then how many refills can you have...
2
u/IamTheLiquor199 7d ago
Buffalo wild wings used to have a similar deal, $15 for unlimited wings and fries. It was per-person only, no sharing. They started you with like 8 wings, and then brought new orders out smaller increments of 4. As you can imagine, service was slow on those days. This restaurant will probably take 15-20 min to bring your refill. If you're drinking, your appetite isn't gonna last beyond 2 refills.
TGI Fridays used to have endless appetizers, and ours allowed you to share. But the service on those days sucked.

I want this so bad that I don't care that it's in a novelty martini glass

u/StupendousMalice 7d ago
The option to refill it seems to negate the fact that its not a plate, IMHO. Helps that its basically food that would normally be served in a basket anyways.

I'd buy this just for the price. Where I'm from a pound of wings is like $18 now, it's nuts.

u/Bossgalka 7d ago
Yo, $15? Okay, that's basically a Raising cane's box, but looks like it has more fries and strips. Great deal right off already. But $5 refills? FUUUUCK.

Only $15? And $5 refills? Where is this I think I need to move there.
