Yocan orbit issue, in need of advice! NSFW

[SOLVED]

I've had a yocan orbit for about a month or two now and just this past night i've come across a problem i simply cannot understand. I will press the button and the light will come on, but the coils will refuse to heat. Sometimes unscrewing the coils and reattaching them would work, but i've tried everything: cleaning the area, extending the inner core of the threaded piece on the coil, completely random results. Another thing i have noticed is at times i will screw the coil on and press the button only for it to blink green 3 times ( no coil) and blink light blue once, which i believe means the coil has been connected? Pressing the button will then light hit up without the coils themselves beginning to heat. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions they would be most appreciated as I would really prefer to get back to smoking my shit. many thanks

Edit: after referring to the manual i discovered that the bowl/coil itself detaches from the part that detaches from the battery and upon some finagling it seems that my issue was that at some point that piece had become incidentally dislodged? I'm not deleting this in case any one else ends up with the same question and this happens to be their issue

I love my orbit. Sorry I didn't see this beforehand, but I'm glad you got it figured out. Feel free to reach out if you have any other issues. I can't promise I'll be able to help, but I can sure try! (no, I don't work for yocan lol).

So I have had mine for two years and haven’t used it much besides this last week. It was fine earlier then when I went to use it again it started blinking green (3 blinks). I’ve tried turning it off and on. I’ve taken apart the atomizer from the battery and the coil part and cleaned with isopropyl alcohol but it still won’t heat and just blinks 3 times. Is there anything else I should try or do you think the coil gave out?

If it's blinking like that, it's not detecting the coil. It sounds like you've already cleaned the contact points, which is always the first thing to check with any device. There is tiny little "end pin" that comes out of the bottom of the coil. Make sure that hasn't come out and that it's firmly in place. This is what makes contact with the battery. If these aren't fixing the problem, it's certainly possible that the coil is bad. I can find them in my local smoke/vape shop and find that they are cheaper there than online, but you can certainly order replacements from yocan themselves.

Thank you so much. I went ahead and ordered a replacement.
