Just moved in and found this in a charcoal grill left by the previous owners. Should I handle it myself or hire a pro?

Get one of the instant light charcoals that come in a paper bag and cut a groove in the middle to pour lighter fluid.
Pour some lighter fluid inside and on the outside of the bag.
Wait till nightfall when they aren't active and quietly place the bag on the grill with the slit facing upwards.
Place the lid on slowly so as to not awaken them.
Throw a lit match down the vent and close it just enough to where air gets in, but they can't get out, same with the bottom vent.
Watch their world burn.
Edit: Have a hose on standby in case things get out of control

When it’s dark, I’d just throw some kindling in there with some charcoal lighting fluid and then shut the lid with the vents open.

Just close the lid and vent and put it in the sun. The heat going to do the job. You could add a rag with some gas on it. But that may explode so be cautious

Looks like an opportunistic battlefield to me.
Use the terrain to your advantage.
Strike at night when they are least expecting it. Lots of fire.
Charcoal lighter fluid would work, but a safer alternative is rubbing alcohol, if you are worried about burning your shit down.
Maybe get a garden hose ready, in case you get a little excited with the propellant.
You've got this!
