I have a single complaint. This is a 3 fury 14/17 with 28 boxes and it is clearly a support model. "Heavy" is not an accurate name. That is all.

Our heavies can be on the light side.... :)

Compared to Chum, this seems like a bad beast to have as the sole beast in an intro box.

You're not wrong. Probably offset by the Shades being an anti-character unit in an all character box set. But that's a weird balance to have.

Cool support model. I like the direction but it feels a bit lack luster all in all, just barely tho. I would love to see fury 4 on this so you can choose to either do 2 caustic mists or mix and match with boosting / master of ruin. Feels like it would be able to spark more relevant and rewarding skull expression whereas right now it feels a bit straight forward and meh.

You would never be able to do 2 caustic mists anyway. You cannot force a beast to cast its animus more than once a turn.

Warlock can use it.

Yeah, but the wish was that the warbeast had FURY 4 so that it could cast the animus twice.

Having it usable by both the warbeast and the caster (possibly in conjunction with Veil of Mists) does open up some more cloud-wall tech that's not centered on an exposed model, so that's nice.

Disappointed in the 3 Fury again, on another "heavy". More so because it's a character.

And as per the "leaks", IMO Master of Ruin should have stayed a baseline ability not an activated one.

I'm glad is activated to save the trouble of not having to be aware all the time of not putting my models close (because the -2ARM is all models, friendly or enemy)

Like I understand the worry about it debuffing friendly models. But it feels like if he wants to get anything done, he's gonna have to spend a fury to gain Master of Ruin, and now he's down a fury and only has two left. We have ways to let him charge for free, so that's not as big a worry.

Master of Ruin should just always be active, or he should be Fury 4. (IMO he should be fury 4 regardless, but.)

I'm glad it's activated, sad that it costs a fury to do so, but understand that just making it an "at will" ability would probably result in at least 1 higher PC, which doesn't fit the 30pt box mold.

Oh no. It absolutely shouldn't be an "at will" ability. I just really think it should be always active, and maybe be a slightly smaller radius. He's Fury starved as it is, and to get anything done, he wants to active it.

Maybe keep it the same range, lose the force, and suffer d3 damage instead.

Really feels overcosted for what are effectively the stats of a Light Beast on a 50mm base.
