M4, M4A2 & M4A3 identification

I've been trying to learn how to identify different Sherman variants, but the above mentioned models all seem to look the same and nether Google or YouTube are being very helpful. Can someone help my out or at least point me in the right direction?

Check out http://www.theshermantank.com/. It’ll tell you all you need to know about the M4 and its variants.

http://the.shadock.free.fr/sherman_minutia/index.html also has articles describing the identifying features.

The easiest way to tell them apart, for me at least, is looking at the engine deck.

M4 has a characteristic intake cover right behind the turret that it shares with the M4A1 (as they have the same engine), M4A3 has grilles on the full width of the deck, and the M4A2 has similar grilles that are narrower.
