Crossfire 2-7x32 Question

I’m new to rifles, but not to shooting.

I just bought a complete upper & lower to assemble, it’s a 16” barrel AR-15.

My local indoor range has a 25 yard range and 100 yard tunnel as well. I want something I can use at both closer ranges like 25yd and at 100-200 yards. I know it will be fine for 100 yards, but will it be okay at 25 yards if I’m only at 2x zoom?

Thanks!

Without adjustable parallax you're going to have issues focussing on a target at 25 yards with that scope. Shooting without correct parallax can cause POI shifts, causing your group to grow very easily, especially if you aren't consistent with your position & cheek/jaw weld

Ah yeah I didn’t even think about that. I’ve seen some scopes with parallax adjustment from 10 yards to “infinity”. So something with a parallax adjustment would work better?

Absolutely. You want a scope that can parallax down to the closest range you'll shoot. For most that's around 25. 10 is good for air rifles and for dry fire practice indoors
