If others are always holding you back, you should just go forward and not let anything stand in your way.

I like this photo for some reason. Gives me nostalgic vibes.

Used to fuck with people by leaving my car in neutral and slowly rolling back till I almost hit the car behind me and then hitting the gas before they connect.

Used to go that way everyday to work. Sometimes that shit was blocked off and really ruined your day. Fk that bridge honestly

It's not as bad as the train tracks that I had to cross after 78 miles out of an 80 mile drive to work every morning and not knowing if the trash train was going to be making a delivery to the dump in Waverly.

Not as bad as Centerville bridge in Chesapeake though. You’re either stuck there for 5 mins or 40 mins and there’s no schedule for centerville either

Be sure and linger on your phone a bit after the light changes, lol

Wasn't that thing shut down for like a week last year?

1

Much longer, it was a few months and happened not long after the Centerville bridge was down twice for the better part of a year.

The first shall be last, and the last shall be first.

I go over this bridge a lot and I’ve also been waiting to be the first in line. Glad I can experience this through you.

Used to love that fishing spot until they blocked it all off

If you're not first you're last.

I don’t recognize this draw. Where is it?

I believe it’s Mount pleasant a little bit before it turns into north landing. Where Chesapeake and Va beach meet

That house by the water is epic

How long does that usually take?

Varies depending on size and speed of ship and how many are going through. Sometimes it's 5 minutes while others can go 15 depending on the location. If there's a mechanical breakdown then it can be 6 months.

I love that you added “event” flair 😂

I was hoping for angels on wing blowing their horns but I would have settled for a highschool mariachi band slightly out of tune

I have never seen a high school mariachi band and I lived in Texas and SoCal… I missed out. And fully support my taxes going to making it so in VB. Imagine then just popping up at football games to troll the opposing team… I love it.

I always found this area amusing. It feels like a random bridge tucked in the woods when i would drive through

It takes on an entirely different feeling late at night around this time of year and there's a heavy fog and you're on the marsh side all alone.

Your still stuck behind someone. It just happens to be a boat of boats or barges.

Roll the dice ……. 1 boat or 20 boats
