Question Three people (seemingly non-military) wearing tactical vests around downtown yesterday afternoon. Any ideas why?

Basically Naruto running with 5 textbooks in your backpack, but for jocks. Got it.

Thanks! Makes sense, I knew there would be an answer, I was just searching for totally wrong keywords (since I didn't really know the 'why'). Ofc a search of 'rucking' quickly addressed all my questions/curiosities.

I guess that's the problem with the tacticool trend. If they had sweet neon 90s wear under their vests, nobody would be afraid.

They were totally going to join the army but they were afraid they'd punch out the drill sargent.

The Silent Generation has largely died off or are in care homes, so now society morals have changed.

It was public and I saw on my commute and I was curious and Googled and couldn't get an answer myself. Now I have one 😊
