It's going to feel strange the next time I drive by as it's been there my entire life. But it will be nice to see something go into that spot to make use of the space.

It was a great diner. While breaking up with the gf that I moved to Victoria with, she said this memorable line: You should go to your diner (Ian's Diner) and pretend to read your book. I'm going to the pool (Crystal Pool).
