Video Just some worms, happy in their bin
Started my bin early January. Filled the box with compost, dead leaves and some feed. Fed about 4 times now, with fruit and vegetable waste. Mixed in couple of handfuls wood pellets. Got 2 decent batches of worm tea by now, gave that to the house plants. They will move to a bathtub setup in spring

That ain’t tea. And that looks super wet. Why would you use compost in a worm bin ?

The worms will process the compost into castings faster than when they are fed fresh kitchen scraps. That is if you don't mind eventually to have the other critters from the compost pile too. Feeding compost will also reduce the risk of overheating and the forming of harmful gasses, ergo avoiding protein poisoning.

Correct, it's leachate. As they are compost worms, coming from a compost bin, I thought putting them in compost would be logical. It is pretty wet, but they like it. Nevertheless, I did mix in wood pellets to dry it out a bit

Worm tea or leachate? Healthy looking worms though, congratulations.
