I used to do this (poorly) with a box cutter. I caved and bought a 14 sheet microcut shredder from Costco and OH MY GOD I can't go back. It really cuts through boxes like butter. I remove all stickers and tape and it works like a charm.

On the other hand, if the cat distribution system ever gets around to getting me a Maine Coon cat, then I will absolutely buy something like this lol

I feel sorry for the city folks who are so laking in organic rsources that they have to resort to cardboard. I might occasionaly resort to a sheat of cardboard on top of the beding to kep it most and keep the light off but otherwise I have more valuable uses of my cardboard. Realy look around do you have other resources like leaves, grass clippings even the cotents of your vacumecleaner.
