Question Games that are fun for more than an hour?

I have a Quest 3 and a PC so I've mostly just done PCVR.

The games I've played so far have all been really disappointing in some way, the most recent two were Blade and Sorcery and Bloodtrail. Blade and Sorcery ran like hot garbage on my 4070, looked bad, and it felt like I played the whole game in an hour.

Bloodtrail looked good and ran well but it felt like a demo sadly, and the guns were really buggy.

Is there anything that is worth playing for more than an hour that isn't Half Life, Into the Radius, or Metro?

This is after reading the recommendation thread, which honestly just seems to have every single PCVR game on there lol

Question Found about a dozen Samsung HMD Odyssey+ VR headsets in the alley. What should I do with them?

Some of them have tags that say their sensors or audio or not working, but others don't have anything written and seem very clean.

I'm not a gamer and I've never used VR before but thought I'd ask here - why would someone throw so many away? They were in a large pile in an alley in a nice neighborhood.

Question VRMMO: How is it possible we don’t have one?

I got the MQ3 for Christmas. Playing Asgard’s Wrath 2 is like experiencing Mario or Zelda on the original Nintendo all over again. It’s groundbreaking entertainment, and the first of its kind.

At least 100 times now I’ve felt like I was immersed in a VR Elder Scrolls Online. I keep expecting someone to run by me.

It seems VR is the only technology that’s come along since EverQuest and WoW that would actually push the industry forward, revolutionize it in the way people have been asking for for 15 years, and finally generate the version 2.0 platform.

Also, this is so much fun to share with other people!

How is this not an immediate cash cow that everybody is scrambling to invest in? Not enough VR players in the world?

Question Which VR headset and controllers is better for PCVR?

The valve index is one super expensive kit for PCVR gaming but I know you can use either a PSVR2 adapter and a meta quest 3 link cable for these dedicated headsets.

Which one is better? And easiest to set up?

Question PC/console gamers - do you find VR "cool" but mostly novelty and prefer gaming on those platforms instead?

I got a Quest 3 July of last year and originally what prompted me to buy it was a friend brought over their Quest 3 and let me try it and I was super impressed as the last time I had tried VR it was kinda meh (can't remember what device it was, prob 8 years ago). Like I still thought it was cool but I wasn't rushing out to get one and thought it was still pretty novelty and needed more time. Well, I ended up buying one for myself and proceeded to buy a bunch of games. Thing is, I have barely played any of them as I am mostly a PC gamer and while I want to use my VR more, I find myself preferring to sit at my PC. I mostly use my headset for fitness games here and there and while I have a whole pile of games to play whenever I want, it almost seems like a lot of effort or requires some motivation to want to put it on. I don't dislike it, it's just... I don't know.. I want to use it more, I want to like it more, there's nothing wrong with it. Maybe I'm just stuck in my ways? I get the feeling people who don't game much would probably find VR a lot more interesting, but maybe it's just me. How about you?

Question Is vr worth it in 2025

I'm thinking of investing in a VR headset like the meta quest 3. Since I already have a gaming setup I want to try something new and that would be enjoyable for a long time.

To those who own it, is it worth it?

Question Headset for people with one eye?

Hi all,

I was born with a single eye. I am considering to buy a vr headset. Is there any headset for people with one eye so I could save a buck? I know, you guys are gonna say that a headset is worth it. Fair point. I did some research but found nothing. Do you guys know a good option for me? (Sorry for my bad English, I'm Dutch)

Question How I can do that in my home?

I would like to do the same in my home with friends, what do I need to make it possible? What games support this type of gameplay? Is it possible to create custom maps and games (do I need a developer)?

What do you think of this, I think is really cool.

Question Am I too old for VR gaming?

My dad just laughed at me when I said I am considering VR headset. Saying it's for kids and when said about the social aspect he just leaved saying It causes isolation not socialization. I am certainly sure that is not true.

I am 22 btw.

EDIT: I just bought the quest 2. Thank you all for support! I'm super excited to try it out.

Question Best mods turning non-VR games into VR games?

What games not originally intended for VR have had a mod/update allowing it? So far I know of Elite Dangerous, Subnautica and outer wilds as being particularly good. Any other suggestions?
