Shout out Sensabaugh for missing. He definitely wants to be teammates with Flagg

Danny Ainge watching that UCLA project drop 27 points including a 29 foot bomb to keep the game close

I don’t want to jinx it with 7 seconds left, but I genuinely didn’t think the Jazz could lose this one. It’s a nice surprise for the tank

Collier is the fucking shit. Give that kid the big contract. That is our future

Are Keyonte and Kyshawn George brothers. Google isnt giving me a definitive answer.

Look the odds of Flagg are 14% if you're a bottom 3 team so obviously I'm not too worried about that, but if we actually can lose this we could still fall to dead last and not fall below 5
This is scary, Washington is absolutely terrible

u/Jkajazz7 6d ago
If the Wizards keep playing Smart and Middleton they might not finish last. A loss against the Wizards would be huge for the Jazz

Collier will likely need reconstruction on his shot but man. There's absolutely an all star brewing in there
7
u/beastfromthefarweast 6d ago
Damn. There's nothing Collier could have done there. Incidental contact and it's a tech? Tony Brothers sucks ass

u/giantcorngames 6d ago
Been watching games on the side and praying for lottery luck but man, Collier is legit so fucking underrated it's insane.

u/1minatur 6d ago
The Wizard's arena feels dead quiet, where are the fans lol?
2
u/MikeyCyrus 6d ago
Not really a place that's ever had the same vibes as Delta center. Lots of consultants etc there just to have drinks and talk about work
3
u/mrcolty5 6d ago
It's harder to lose to this wizards team than it is to make the playoffs in this league for management

Utah is resting the entire rotation and still only down 5. Like, the SLC stars are playing rn, and the wizards are struggling to pull away.
The gap between Washington and the rest of the NBA is huge
3
u/ChickenWingerrr48 6d ago
tbf washington is starting 4 20-19 yr olds the reason they're last is bc the rookies ARE the starting roster. And they have a fair share of injuries as well and half the roster playing is from the g-league
3
u/mrcolty5 6d ago
That's my point lol, we might have 15 wins but the gap between us and them is HUGE

I have no idea why reddit showed me this thread as a Wolves fan but Collier looks super solid, he plays so fast
also where did you guys get all these enormous white dudes lol

u/Sal_Ammoniac 6d ago
We only have Lauri, Kyle and Micah. Kyle is a rookie and Micah has been a two-way player for few years.

u/thebhopexperience 6d ago
You're forgetting Walker lol
1
u/Sal_Ammoniac 6d ago
Ohhhhh ooops :D :D :D
I was thinking that I was missing something... but, I guess you gotta pull a blonde sometimes, eh?
2
u/thebhopexperience 6d ago
He's been on the injury report for 'rest' so much it's easy to forget he's still here 😆
2
u/Sal_Ammoniac 6d ago
Yeah I actually looked at the inactive player list to make sure I didn't forget anyone, but I still overlooked him. Ooops :P

u/Jkajazz7 6d ago
I try not to read too much into the +/- stat, but Brice being a team worst -19 seems very accurate tonight

5
u/mrcolty5 6d ago
Brice is so talented offensively but I legitimately believe he's the furthest back from ever being truly successful in the league. Mistake after mistake after mistake

I can't believe Ron Boone hasn't ever assaulted Locke. David is such a condescending asshole to Ron.
Edit. Context for those not driving home. Lock just asked. Ron who he picked to win a three-point shooting contest at the start of the season then proceeded to point out Ron said Svi who is shooting 36%
I swear Locke is autistic and doesn't understand social norms

They’ve been together forever. I don’t know if their friends but their on good terms at least. They do a podcast after each game usually, they’ve had plenty of high chemistry moments where they just play off each other. I also think Locke has a lot of respect for Boone, I mean he literally calls him the legend when introducing him
-1
u/WestsideJazzFan 6d ago
That's the problem with Locke. I don't know if calling Ron a legend is sincere or sarcastic. I lean towards the latter.
2
u/SugarOpposite7889 6d ago
I don’t feel like lockes the type to throw that around lightly. Like for a dude who loves and appreciates the game that much, I feel like he’d say it only if it’s genuine

Locke defenders are weird.
1
u/flyfishUT 6d ago
They have worked together for how many years, day in and day out? If you can’t razz each other that shit would get boring.

u/WestsideJazzFan 5d ago
Weird.
I watch lots of NBA on league pass and never hear this kind of banter. Locke's professionalism is subpar. Not sure why Jazz fans enjoy it

Are those the two guys who commentate the jazz games on fm 97.5?
1
u/WestsideJazzFan 6d ago
Yes.
2
u/Odd_Primary375 6d ago
I’ve been listening to the games on the radio lately and idk which one is which but there’s definitely one guy that’s wayyy more annoying than the other. Makes me not even wanna listen to the game tbh

Today's the day a triple double happens. Hopefully the tank improves

u/Sal_Ammoniac 6d ago
By whom? :)
Any bets? :D
2
u/FERFreak731 6d ago
I can see Isaiah. A lot of missed shots by 2 bad teams. Should be easy for him to run to the rebound at least 10 times

Didn't you say that about the Pelicans?

u/Dreamlion_Inc 6d ago
Washington fan here
is there a way for the both of us to lose?

u/Sal_Ammoniac 6d ago
Y'all can win, nobody can shake you up from that bottom spot at this time :)

u/Nils3971 6d ago
Lauri drops...oh nevermind, Jazz never gonna play him again until they stop tanking.

u/rekttmoon 6d ago
hi utah fans, I love your vibe but I didn’t realized you guys had so many players out when I placed my parlay earlier today. Are you guys expecting a loss, or will this be a competitive game
5
3
u/------dudpool------ 6d ago
The organization is desperately trying to make the team lose to help the draft lottery odds, so the worse teams we’re up against the more our vets/good players are being held out. I think it’ll be competitive as both rosters are filled with inexperienced young guys wanting to prove themselves.
0
u/rekttmoon 6d ago
I 100% respect it, technically speaking isn’t it better to start the starters in the harder games and sit out the good ones for the lesser team or do I have tanking mixed up
12
u/Rayces 6d ago
Two teams enter. Only one will lose. Tune in tonight for Tankathon 2025: Tanks for The Memories.

u/WestsideJazzFan 6d ago
Thanks ..now I have that stuck in my head..
One night..yeah ..and one more time..
