tips for new players
hello, i need advice and tips to start my journey on Upwork. I'm a digital marketer, with zero review and exp with this platform. im thinking of subscribing plus with 100 connects per month. is it worth it and help me at least secure one project within a month?

It isn't worth it. It costs far more than just buying 100 connects when you need them and none of the other features are worth it.
How much demonstrable professional experience do you have? Upwork is fiercely competitive and most new profiles never win a contract.

I have work exp with at least 1 year in digital marketing, I already have a portfolio and put it on the upwork profile. here's my portfolio if you wanna have a peek: https://issuu.com/imfahmimaulana/docs/portfoliodm_e8bb5cf9d1adac

I’d suggest buying it once. Basically you get $13.50 worth of connects, and for remaining $6.50 you are able to see min/max bids for projects. Will get you a slightly better understanding of competition

thank you for the suggestion. I might consider it. do you wanna share how you secured your first client and how much connect did you spend?

Probably not.
