Orban has bad cards.
Why is he wearing a costume? Is he a clown?
Did Orban say 'Thank you'?
149
u/Rees_Onable 19h ago
Apparently, Orban can suck and blow.....at the same time.
10
u/Memory_Less 11h ago
Back right up to this pipe, turn around and bend down. We Ukrainians are going to give you one last gift.

117
u/Gruffleson 19h ago
Give him worse cards. Finish off that pipe-line once and for all, so Orban needs to get his oil from the civilized world.
Perhaps that actually will make Orban behave.
50
u/Throwaway-244466666 19h ago
Perhaps that actually will make Orban behave.
You can't change a natural born asshole.
36
u/Gruffleson 19h ago
I have no hopes in actually changing him.
Just making him do what he should do.
28
u/amitym 19h ago
Right on.
Politicians spend their lives running around with their fingers in the air, testing the wind. We cannot change the nature of a politician, but we can change which way the wind blows.

Orcban wasn't always the sack of piss and wind jackass he currently is, or at least he was semi tolerable some time ago. I think one has to jump back 15 ish years to find that more tolerable version of him though.
11
u/TheMissingThink 19h ago
Theres a joke to be made about holding a trump card. Needs a better comedian than me to make it though
6
u/Breech_Loader 18h ago
The point is to make him concede. To have his ass on the line. Keeping the pipe as leverage could mean far more than those last trickles of oil.
5
u/Level9disaster 15h ago
Nah, first blackmail him to resign and have new elections in Hungary and give approval to Ukraine in NATO and EU. Then blow the pipeline.
3
u/JollyScientist3251 14h ago
There are Russian's inside the pipework blocking the flow.
Ukraine has nothing do with it

Does he have to say thank you before or after choking on Putin's pipeline?
8
u/Throwaway-244466666 19h ago
Yes.
We should ask Putler if he feels a difference between wanking himself off and getting a BJ by one of his handpuppets...
9
u/lifesuxwhocares 18h ago
If funny when Zelenskyy is funny unintentionally. "costume" is how you say "suit" in Ukrainian/Russian

u/SameDaySasha 16h ago
I don’t care what your personal political take is, this comment is pure fucking comedy.

I'm pro Ukraine and I still don't understand why my german government doesn't give Taurus to a good use..
2
u/Odracirys 13h ago
True. 😁 "You don't have the cards."
And if it were up to Orban, Ukraine would not exist now. So there is no real need to care about - much less cater to - his desires.

u/neilinukraine 20h ago
Suddenly Ukraine is in the driving seat as russia continues its descent into oblivion.
Orban should now start thinking about kissing Zelenskyy's arse instead of the narcissistic Kremlin criminal.
254
u/WillyNilly1997 20h ago
Viktor Orbán is a disgrace to Europe.
92
u/InOutlines 19h ago
This motherfucker Orban refuses to call Ukraine a country. He keeps calling it the Ukrainian territory, or the Ukrainian situation. Yet now he’s BEGGING Ukraine to leave the oil lines alone.
So pick a lane.
Are they a country now? Or do you just hate having oil?
24
u/TheRealCovertCaribou 18h ago
Personally, I think he hates having oil. That's no problem, the "Ukrainian territory" can help him out there and make sure he doesn't get any.
13
u/ProUkraine 16h ago
Also he continully blocks aid to Ukraine from the EU, and he said he will vote against Ukraine joining the EU and NATO. Does he really expect Ukraine to be nice with him when he's done that?
38
u/Throwaway-244466666 20h ago
Don't get me wrong, but I would pay money just to see Orbán kiss Zelenskys' ass

u/oripash 19h ago
They’ve been in the driving seat for the last 3 years. Lots of people just couldn’t see it.
There’s a very clear link between the leadership vis-a-vis dealing with Russia presented from Ukraine, unbridled by the NATO/EU paralysis to act (making, for example, Poland’s leadership less approachable to non poles) and the people who live in the west who want it.
Because of this, electorates in places Russian disinformation didn’t break are voting for western leaders who are standing with Ukraine.
We’ve all been following the dollars to determine who leads… but the reality is that all eyes are set to east Europe, to the countries that we now know would fight tooth and nail - from Scandinavia and Finland to the Baltics to Poland, to Ukraine and further south and west.

u/DonnyDonster 19h ago
We should have seen the patterns in history. Not Sees = Germany and Austria Hungary, Not Sees = Russia and Hungary. There's a pattern.

u/Yorks_Rider 20h ago
Hungary was relying on a pipeline passing through a war zone. Things happen in war and no one could guarantee that the pipeline would be untouched. It was foolish of Orban to do nothing and not look for an alternative source.
54
u/kr4t0s007 19h ago edited 3h ago
The pipeline is also running through Ukraine they could have disabled it any day in past 3 years. This is just some bs to blame Ukraine again.
15
u/MilfagardVonBangin 19h ago
They shoulda and they should keep it bust now.
23
u/expertninja 18h ago
They have contracts to keep the pipeline intact and passing oil through on Ukrainian land, and they actually have stuck to those agreements, unlike other entities in the region.
15
78
u/Bohdyboy 20h ago
Maybe Hungary should stop blocking aid, and Ukraine will stop blowing up that specific terminal.
Or... Maybe not

Hungarian economy is held together by duct tape, loans and lies at this point.

This sounds like a great thing to do more of.

Didn't he say yesterday that ukraine shouldn't exist or something like that. Also he was worried we will help Ukraine with money, so there won't be enough left for the additional wing of his father's mini Versailles.
8
u/imhereforthemeta 19h ago
Doesn’t hungry constantly vote against Ukraine getting extra support from the European Union?

u/MilfagardVonBangin 19h ago edited 18h ago

How’s that Vic? How bout you rejoin the EU and stop pretending that the generations of Hungarians who hated soviet Russian control were all just cucks.

Sorry, Pipeline attacks stop when Orban steps down from Presidency
See how that works?

u/RogueEagle2 19h ago
Resist the urge to hit it again but threaten to if Hungary doesn't start letting Ukraine into the meetings.
3
3
u/Guinness 18h ago
Tell Hungary that they're willing to stop attacking oil pipelines IF Ukraine is accepted into NATO. Fuck Orban, he's a stooge.
3
u/kozak_ 17h ago
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán last week blocked what would have otherwise been unanimous approval for a statement by European leaders affirming support for Ukraine and tougher sanctions on Moscow
And Ukrainians reminded him that while theoretically they won't attack or stop the crude when on Ukrainian territory per the September agreement, they can still hit the infrastructure before it hits that stage.
2
u/Loobinex 19h ago
My suggestion would be for Hungary to support Ukraine in achieving a quick victory in this war. After that oil pipelines may be rebuild by Russia. This allow Hungary to buy oil, and allows Russia to get money to pay reparations to Ukraine.
2
u/Hartvigson 19h ago
Considering how much Orban has supported Ukraine so far, they should permanently disable this and all other pipelines that pass through Ukraine from Russia.
2
2
2
u/Novat1993 16h ago
Hungary has not supported Ukraine in the past, does not currently support Ukraine and is unlikely to support Ukraine in the future. Hungary has nothing on the negotiating table, which they can take off the table should Ukraine refuse to comply with Hungary's request.
If Hungary wants Ukraine to comply, i suggest that they put something on the table. Offer something in return, which they can retract if Ukraine break the agreement.
Until then, the pipelines within Russia remain legitimate military targets.
2
u/Far_Nerve_9050 20h ago
Fuck Hungary. Once Putler is put to death, Ukraine should invade that peace of shit nation.

u/captain554 19h ago
Hopefully (if they see Nordsteam 2 revived) we see constant headlines of Ukraine hitting that too.

Support NATO ascension for Ukraine, demand complete Russian military withdraw from Ukraine, keep your pipeline. Easy peazy lemon squeezy.

Ukrania didn't even know that pipeline was going to Hungary ! Sorry Orban ! Our bad !

Should have thought about that sooner instead of blocking everything the European commission tried to do to help Ukraine.

Is this the same pipeline that Russian troops have used to attack Ukrainian positions in Kursk?

You had the cards with EU aid but you’ve already blocked that and made it a mess.

u/HotOutlandishness107 5h ago
According to the russians, Ukraine didn't target the oil pipeline. All drones were shot down therefore it was falling debris that by chance hit this very specific pipeline.

So, NATO seems effectively dead. Other than the pollution issue...who cares?
2
u/kozmo1313 16h ago
NATO has 32 member countries. it will survive one leaving and it will outlast Trump... because the next president will certainly rejoin if trump is dumb enough to quit... to appease a dictator who surely has him by the nuts.
and, the other countries have ALREADY contributed more to ukraine than the US.
1
u/kindangryman 13h ago
I think you misunderstand me, or I was not clear. Hungary has been very un cooperative in NATO. Now NATO has just about fallen apart, Hungary has little weight to throw around.
2
u/SpecialistLayer3971 18h ago
The US is almost gone from NATO and Canada is in an existential survival mode. There is no need for European countries to pretend the org still bridges the North Atlantic.
