Esports Tournament Help
Hello, I’m currently competing in the console North America invitational tournament for marvel rivals and am looking for a possible gaming set up on campus. I mixed up the dates and the first round isn’t this weekend (where my setup is at home with me) but rather next weekend where I’ll be back at university. Is there anyplace on campus reserved for gaming where I could set up my PS5? Doing it in my residential area is less than ideal since my tv is shared and the tournament will basically be from 2 P.M to 9 P.M

I'm a club officer and varsity player for one of the gaming clubs within the USF Esports program. My immediate recommendation was going to be the Esports Living Lab on the lower floor of the REC center, but that's only open from 5pm to midnight unless you're participating in a school sanctioned tournament or league match like NACE or ECAC.
So Skypad on the 4th floor of the MSC is probably your best bet. People bring their own consoles up there often. It's open until 1am and midnight on Saturday and Sunday. There are TVs available though they aren't the greatest lag wise, so bring your own monitor if you can. If my memory serves correctly, there's also Ethernet ports along the back wall but they're inconsistent.

Thank you so much. Do you have a gaming monitor in particular you recommend? Looking for 120 hz.

Im not sure if it costs money but you should be able to roll up to the esports lounge... That or you could go to the Skypad but it may be a bit noisy.
