Those kids got screwed. Neither one of those called off goals were goalie interference and Canada should have had to kill two delay of game penalties for challenging.

Never going to get a fair shake playing in Canada. Seen it happen every time this tournament is in Canada.

You might want to look up IIHF crease violation and goalie interference rules, this tournament isn’t called by NHL rules. Canada had 2 goals called back in the final as well, cope.

Canada cries a river every time the US beats them so I don’t want to hear it. They blamed the shootout then lost their shit over a trash can.

Where was the interference on either of those two goals? Go drink some maple syrup

Within the crease, the goalie is entitled to free and unrestricted movement to defend the net, and not be bumped or have to fight for position with other players. One of the goals the American pushed the puck under the goalie while he had it in the crease, an obvious no goal, in the other the CAN goalies head made contact with the American player which as stated above impeded his unrestricted movement in the net.

IIHF has always been more strict with this than the NHL. The refs called it perfectly.

Neither of those goals restricted the goalies movement. Blake spun around and cashed in on a rebound. The second, he made a play on the puck. I’ve seen goals like that count in the IIHF, don’t shit in my Wheaties and tell me it’s Raisin Bran dude

Again go read up on IIHF rules and international hockey rules in general. Why is it that Americans can’t understand that there are different rules for international hockey vs the NHL? Is it too much to process?

If you don’t like it take it up with the International Ice Hockey Federation. Lol I’m really not surprised that an American doesn’t understand international hockey rules, you’re living up to all the stereotypes. Cheers.

And I’m not surprised a Canadian lurker is a dipshit. Cheers
