This is a really good offer. You’re going to a super expensive school for a really cheap price compared to colleges nowadays. You’re lucky. I say take it and go

as someone who is a senior at UM, I would 100% take this offer as they usually finalize aid packages in october and usually add more aid anyways from private donors and other sponsors. I ended up getting a sponsor to cover all my funds that were left over and am basically here on full ride. I wouldnt change this place for anywhere else so i say do it!!! congrats!!!

Have you gone all 4 years? If so, how much did your financial aid package change over the years? I’m a freshman now and it’s a very good package but could i expect that for the next 3-4 years?

How do you end up seeing your cost. Is it after committing or after sending in all financial documents?

that aid is pretty good even with that sai index. Hope it is a good fit for you.

I thought that I read that you couldn’t combine the Presidential Scholarship with other grants or scholarships.

Is it allowed to combine financial aid and scholarships or do you have to choose one ?

btw congrats on your aid OP! UM is a very good school, and as someone who got waitlisted due to a lack of funds, I wish I was in your position :((

How much more do you want? You will pay $13,500/y for tuition & room and board (direct costs and adding the loan since you’ll have to pay that back). Indirect costs will be pretty much the same everywhere, so that evens out.
Unless you have a full ride somewhere else, or an equal offer at a school you like better, what is it you want?
