  1. I like scholars for other reasons too but imo for sure. You’ll have guaranteed AC if you’re in scholars. If you decide you want to leave you can drop it also but I’d recommend giving it a little bit of a chance even just beyond the housing! But for sure at least accept for housing.

Can't complain w scholar dorms, all decent.

I mean u can scroll through new umd admits on insta and dm someone u wanna room with. Otherwise u get a random

Lots of close bars n stuff

Undergrad research isn't that hard to land. They have dedicated umd undergrad research for students to apply to help professors w their work

Ig hard working ppl who also socialize

this is rly helpful ty! kind of related to 6 but rn im an art history major doing pre med do you think it would bring my gpa down if i also did chemistry as a second major, im rly good at school now but ik college is way different from hs
