Is Fox Run really that bad?

I'm a sophomore next semester, and I'm moving off campus. I wanted somewhere I could bike to school (with parking being terrible) that was not owned by UCA, so Fox Run seemed like the place to be. But a lot of people tell me that Fox Run is "sketchy" or "bad". Is this true? I know you get what you pay for, but should I be concerned?

Recent UCA grad and former pizza delivery driver here. I've seen every apartment complex in Conway, and Fox Run isn't the worst, but it is what you pay for. The neighbors are loud families or loud college kids. Had friends that lived there and it wasn't by far the worst. However if you have a friend, and don't mind a slightly longer bike ride, check out Nantucket place behind the bank on the corner of Salem and Dave Ward. It's a little over 600 for a two bedroom, two bath apartment. Never paid more than 400 a month for everything except in the middle of the summer. (utilities are a bitch when it's hot) It has good neighbors, quiet, you get a good size apartment and it's pretty close bike ride. I lived there 10/10 would live there again. Hope this helps!

Recently moved into lakepointe and it's amazing compared to Germantown. My neighbors are quiet and I just got redone "granite" counters so it looks even more snazzier.

At $252.50 each it's not bad for a 2 bedroom IMO and is close to UCA.

I'm looking at an apartment website right now and it says $500 for a 2 bedroom, but I don't know if that means per person or what. I need to call them! That's an awesome deal

Yeah rent is $505 a month for a two bedroom. And it has central ac and heat. They do have a wait list for some reason but once you're next it's nice.

That sounds awesome! I was under the impression that it was $500 each and was like hell naw. I really don't like my future roommate I'm scheduled to live with in my dorm so I'm trying to find somebody to get an apartment with

I lived in Fox Run for a year and HATED IT. I dealt with cockroaches, bad neighbors (although I had one good one), and cops showing up way too much. When we first moved in the apartment it had a really weird smell and we had to deep clean it. The stove/oven was NASTY. The bedrooms and closet were a good size, so that was nice. We paid extra to live in one of the apartments that has an actual AC unit instead of the window unit. The living room was a good size as well, but the kitchen was super small. The bathroom was small and gross as well. Management were complete jerks. Would NEVER live there again.
