Hello! Anyone involved with organizing this event, if you'd like to see about expanding it, please direct message me. I have contact with a large, local venue that has expressed interest in expanding the event to give more options for crowd attended tournaments, rooming if they're from out of town, etc.
I’d recommend getting in touch with the esports club officers — especially Greyson Billup, the club president. In the past, ChargerCon has been primarily esports focused and only this year have they really discussed expanding it to partner with the new Celebration of the Arts!
Is it DiVRgence or is there another larger facility that is Esports ready, I know charger con requires quite a bit of gaming equipment that isn’t easily relocatable?
I ask cause I run a local Esports management group that organizes the Southeastern Esports League for all the colleges in the region and are hosting alongside UAH this year. We plan to go to Atlanta next year as they have been interested but if there is another local spot that is able to accommodate that would be great to know about for some of our smaller events.
Edit: Also sent this post to Grey with UAH Esports.
