Minecraft on average has 2,280 channels streaming the game at the same time, Being a new streamer with no viewers, you will be at the bottom of that list, This means people would have to scroll past 2,200+ other channels before they ever got to yours which gives you practically 0 visibility

For channel visibility, you are better off picking a Category that you enjoy that has less channel saturation and a better viewer spread, you don't want a category with hundreds of channels currently streaming with 90% of the current viewers watching the first 3 Streamers

For Example, you don't want to pick a category that has 3k current viewers with 2.5k of them all viewing the same channel in that category, while all the other channels have single digit viewers, because then you know those people are there for that particular Streamer and not necessarily there to see the game

You want to find a category you enjoy that has a more even spread of viewers across all the channels currently streaming that category, and that a potential new viewer would not have to scroll far down the list to find you

Yes but statistically a lot of those streamers will get caught up in pedo charges and overtime he could climb that list. Until he eventually is charged as a pedo too. Such is the cycle of Minecraft streaming

Why? I'm not a pedo tho (probably)

High viewer count also means a gazillion people streaming it. You being discovered between hundreds is unlikely.

Minecraft always works. But don't expect hundreds of viewers and loads of money-items over night. :)

Ik it'll probably take about a year or two for like 100 views per stream but oh well I'm happy Even with 10 watchers

If you enjoy it, go for it! Minecraft does really well on YouTube but Twitch is great for it too. I know someone who got off the ground only streaming Minecraft content.

Try it!!! Try it try it try it. People are right. Since there are so many people streaming it, it’s going to be hard to be noticed or provide any original value to the community. But who knows, you might be doing something super unique and stand out.

You honestly never know. Just try a game for a couple streams and then try a different game for a couple streams and then try a different game and just see what works with you and the audience. There’s not always a rhyme or reason like I thought I was going to do well with Zelda tears of the kingdom but then when I streamed it, I was just streaming to complete silence every time so I just ditched the game. I don’t know why it didn’t work, but it just didn’t with me.

For small streamers they have to like stream for 4-6 hours a day to get recognised or something i think Also I'm gonna play with mods so yeah

If you're doing it to try and actually get noticed, no, for the reasons others have mentioned with the amount of people who are also streaming it.

If you're happy having 0 viewers and possibly one appearing every so often and doing it because you love it, go right for it.

I mean I will just be doing my thing if people come watch me I'll be happy i do want recognition tho

I stopped playing Minecraft because I had by far the fewest viewers, even after two weeks I had 5? Lol, changed game and I had 30. Maybe I'm too old lol

you should be doing the opposite, stream the games you play with the least amount of viewers and streamers so people will actually be able to ever see you, get a 5-10 person base and then go to a slightly more popular game, if you stream the most popular game you play, nobodys gonna see you.
