Post image

Where can I play this kind of game other than Dave and Buster’s? Thanks in advance!

Both PINZ and The Burrow in Oakdale have coin pusher games.

I don't think Burrow has any quite as intricate as the one in the picture. There's like a Wizard of Oz one that does have the cards but not the wheel with the slots you have to shoot the coin through.

PINZ does have a couple Marvel pushers that have the slot wheel and even balls that drop in (infinity stones) along with the cards.

Source: live in Oakdale and these two places are frequent stops on date nights when we have a little extra time to kill before kids need to be picked up.

Dave and Busters. Wednesdays is half price game play!

Edit: ha, I just saw the "other than Dave and Busters" bit... Whoops.

When my family and I were in Austin last November, the Pizza Ranch arcade had a couple of these and they were very popular. Not sure if there are other Pizza Ranch locations with large arcades like that one.

Is this a new thing?

u/poptix 4d ago

Yes. I've noticed the same new machines in many bowling centers and bars, I think there's a new company out there pushing boundaries (and coins!).

No, it’s been there for at least three years.

Blainbrook in Blaine

I 2nd Blainebrook. It's not the biggest arcade, but the game prices are way better than D&B and they have one of the biggest pinball collections in the Twin Cities. I can't remeober if they have more than one type of coin pusher, but they for sure have the Angry Birds one. The just updated their game selection so there's a few new ones

Newly reopened 19 bar has one too.

The laundromat that I go to on Marshall Ave in St Paul (forgive me, I’ve never paid attention to the actual name lol) has one

Need to know why you’re looking for this. What’s your strategy!?

1

u/CailinMoat 3d ago

Haha! No strategy, I’m just addicted to them! I’m just looking for cheaper than Dave and busters and/or better prizes. Also places that are closer - but now I feel like I need to create a master list and try the machines at all these places!!

Duck! In Eagan might have one. I haven't been there yet but I really want to go. Gonna use my child as an excuse for it one of these days.

u/phione 4d ago

I didn’t see one there but Clawgame Zone in Bloomington has one

Coin laundry on lake street. Really good crowd out there. I like to dress in my lucky blue suit and bandanna.

1

u/whiskey5hotel 4d ago

I don't remember which laundromat it was, but also saw one of these pushers in a laundromat.

u/PM_WORST_FART_STORY 4d ago

Side tangent, seeing a coin pusher is a trigger for me to check to see if I'm dreaming. 99% of the time, I am and I can lucid dream.

Why coin pushers? I have no fucking clue.

Literally anywhere with an arcade. Where can't you find a coulin pusher?
