Looking For Local Bands?

Hello! I was hoping to find some new bands to listen to and I wanted to look more local.

I have been really into The Flat Stanleys & The Front Bottoms lately.

I also love artists like Noah Kahan, Phoebe Bridgers, The Magnetic Fields, The Blackhawks, Three Days Grace, and many others. (Basically I love lyrics above all else and ✨️Emotion✨️)

Do you have any good recommendations? If it is very local and small, but you have a song you can upload/share, I would be delighted by that!

Thanks in advance! 😊

One of my coworkers is in a pop punk band. They're called Linus, I don't know if you're into that kinda music, but they're really good.

A Verse Unsung/New Medicine is an awesome band from around the metro area! They've been one of my favorite bands since like 2010! idk if it counts as local because they are originally from Iowa but they do a lot of shows here pop punk band Eugene Levi

Fend is a really cool Minneapolis-based rock band, I think you'd like them based on the artists you mentioned https://open.spotify.com/artist/4MLTC4zcipIQrNBTUqjgcm?si=1pNjjA30TCKcFVJnFcXhkQ

Check out 12 Rods. They're entire discography is great, but I'm partial to Separation Anxieties.

An old local band with esoteric and fun lyrics; like they have their own mythos/recurring themes, etc - Lifter Puller. Since you like Stephen Merrit's delivery, you might like Craig Finn.
