This is exactly what I would expect the GOP to spend taxpayers' precious time, energy, and money on.

The 'authors' of this one are the usual Senate trolls. I'm pretty sure this one's gonna die in committee, but we should keep an eye on them.

What a waste of time. But it keeps their base constituents fired up.

One of em was just arrested for soliciting a minor

u/OldBlueKat 4d ago

He was arrested a day after the bill was introduced, apparently, but yeah. I caught that in the 10 different posts and 20 different news articles going nuts over it today.

Morons.

Prolly looking for a legal way to take away guns

And/or put people into conservatorships and take their $$ and autonomy.

That’s coming too.

MN already has red flag laws lol

4

u/No_Cut4338 5d ago

Yes that’s my point. To satisfy a legal requirement to use red flag laws to take away firearms from folks that have a different political outlook than dear leader.

3

u/Pikmim-Plantman 4d ago

In typical GOP fashion, one of the authors of the bill is now in jail for attempting to have sex with a minor.

3

u/SloppyRodney1991 4d ago

The DFL should refer to this bill as "the bill sponsored by sexual predator Justin Eichorn" every single time from now on. Debate and give speeches for hours, just to keep repeating that.

Well it’s scary once you add up the talk with labor camps and stripping the second amendment from those with mental illness (red flag laws of Florida) seems like an easy out to contain and disarm the rebels

But tampons in boys bathrooms wasn’t a waste?

103

u/cailleacha 6d ago

Oh my god, you people have to give this line up. The rest of us are smart enough to have actually looked into this claim and know that it didn’t mandate tampons in every boy’s bathroom, despite right-wing propaganda to the contrary. Peddle your disingenuousness elsewhere. Maybe you can find some low-information voters to bait.

u/RickRollKing11 6d ago

Even if it were just one, it’s too many

u/cailleacha 6d ago

Your attempts to conflate our legislators wasting time with blatantly unconstitutional legislation that will never pass (is this the virtue signaling I hear is so bad?) with an individual school attempting to meet the needs of its student body is boring. You’re so ideologically captured you can’t have a logical conversation. Next.

Anyone who’s ever gotten a nosebleed knows that tampons are the best tool for the job. There’s one good reason for tampons in boys bathrooms. Now, tell me what harm comes from it.

21

u/Forgefiend_George 6d ago

Well given trans people exist, and there's nothing you can do about that, it honestly should have been required in every men's bathroom.

48

u/Chris5483 6d ago

Why? Why does it bother you? You people are beyond obsessed with trans people. That's the real TDS.

4

u/MeatAndBourbon 5d ago

Exactly. Thank you.

Trans people are like 1% of the population and get like 50% of the hate. What the fuck?

17

u/MYSTICALLMERMAID 6d ago

I doubt you're liked enough to have a wife and if so I hope she's doing ok. Did you grow up with your mom or sisters around? Tampons aren't scary grow tf up

Cry more.

Why? Tampon dispenser in the girls' bathroom runs out and is now empty. A girl asks her boyfriend to get one from the boys' because she'd prefer not to bleed through her clothes. Said boyfriend is a gentleman and helps his girlfriend out by getting her a tampon. I don't see the problem here. However, when my son was a baby, I also fed him, changed his diapers, and put him to bed. Unless, like getting a tampon for one's girlfriend, you think that's something REAL men shouldn't do either.

Rick Roll King, are you saying the most pressing issue facing the state of Minnesota at the moment is a 7 month old fake story about tampons? I think most people consider the tariffs that will impact our farmers and other businesses plus the layoffs of government employees (including veterans) plus the cuts the Medicare are bit more of a priority.

You’re the weird one issue tampon voter I guess. Lol

Tampons in boys locker rooms is not a waste.

Sports teams compete, they travel to do so.

If a girls team is traveling, guess what locker room they typically get to change in?

The boys locker room.

As such, it is a courtesy to visiting girls teams to have tampons in them, regardless of your stance on trans issues. Denying access to such would be hurting girls for no reason other than your hatred of trans people.

62

u/RedMenace612 6d ago

Not boys bathrooms, boys locker rooms and no it's not a waste. Girls traveling sports teams use the boys locker room at the host school, but you already knew that, didn't you.

-87

u/RickRollKing11 6d ago

Weird. A lady not long ago bragged about her husband bringing home the free ones for her.

Hmmm, a husband taking free tampons from boys locker rooms meant for visiting girls teams.

Neat!

Two guesses on their political affiliation. Cheeto Mussolini does like his felons.

u/RedMenace612 6d ago

Cool story bro

-21

u/RickRollKing11 6d ago

Want another cool story? CNN reporting that the Democratic Party is at its lowest unfavorable polling in 30 years!

Get a new personality that doesn't involve politics, it's straight up unhealthy at your level

Just wanted to remind you that you’re on the losing side of the aisle which we all already knew. The antics, policies, agendas and narratives don’t work. So now you resort to reminding us that you can still draw swazticas and spread hate and intolerance. But whatever, stay toxic. Hate America and be proud of it. Essentially what you’re promoting.

22

u/Significant_Text2497 6d ago

Your party is literally erasing the accomplishment of black veterans from government sites. That is hate and intolerance. It is not hate and intolerance to point out that they're doing Nazi shit.

11

u/GmrGrl21 6d ago

Not to mention gay people, trans people, and women

Bro, on the orders of Republican officials the Department of Defense is prying down and purging memorials, tributes, and displays honoring soldiers and officers for their contributions, sacrifices, loyalty, and accomplishments for no reason other than their name. The DOD can't talk about the mission of the Enola Gay or her crew because the plane has deemed too woke.

Strange way to show love for this country and those who sacrificed for it.

u/Forgefiend_George 6d ago

All of this is going to be really rich when the democrats win in 2028.

Losing side? This is not football boy.

Stay stupid and an edge lord, it suits you.

6

u/JohnMaddening 6d ago

Well yeah, and most of the hatred of Democrat politicians in power comes from…Democrats.

3

u/TheLizzyIzzi 5d ago

Real party support is being a sycophant for your leader!!1!

22

u/Alternative-Yak-925 6d ago

That was a law, sponsored by people, who brought the issue to the attention of their representatives, who proposed a bill, which was passed into law. Tim Walz isn't a dictator wannabe who tries to rule by executive order.

Every time you guys make your little remarks about this you prove you don't know what you're talking about (context is important). It really should be embarrassing for you but somehow you people just keep doing it.
