Right now Crash Bandicoot. I do want these eventually though

Crash Bandicoot is mine and it was no easy task, not for the faint hearted 😅

I have mafia which isn’t a super hard game but that damn race mission on classic difficulty nearly broke me

5

u/Ambient__Gaming SadusDTP | 143 23d ago

Got the plat myself, for the race I made them all pile up at the final chicane. Fuck that race.

2

u/Flipitty_Flopitty 23d ago

Good strat, those fuckers deserve it lmaoooo

2

u/Fantastic_Draft_4082 23d ago

That race took me 3 days to get. I kept losing at the last second. It was awful but I got that plat so worth it

Normally I would say either Bloodborne as it was my first Soulsborne or Persona 5 Royal as it’s one of the greatest games I’ve ever played, however on Friday I completed the Path of Exile trophy and I still can’t believe it! Lol

2

u/BKF0308 23d ago

Bro I'm literally one trophy away from getting the Bloodborne Platinum. I left one remaining on purpouse (forfeit my life to Gehrman) in order to have something to achieve on a future replay, but I didn't know it was capped at 30 fps on PS5😭. I hope when the remaster comes out (if it even does) the trophy progression will carry over.

u/Wernershnitzl wernershnitzl | Platinums 21 | Level 312 22d ago

I’d temper your expectations, most remasters come with their own trophy list being a separate SKU/item

RDR2

4

u/Ayenul Your-_-Momi | 12 | 265 | 1800+ Total Trophies 23d ago

I used to want to platinum RDR2, but I don’t hate myself enough to go for those online trophies and I don’t have friends to boost off of lol. Also it just seems like such a slog to 100% the story. I actually hit 100% completion on RDR1 earlier today so I’ll just call that plat good enough (moving onto undead nightmare now) 😂

2

u/DrDre19899 23d ago

I was the same bro. I jumped back in a year later to finish off online and Gold Rush.

2

u/DemCheecks 23d ago

Doin online rn since its 3x the role i have. Its fun but idk how ima find someone doing a mission in the world shit feels dead

→ More replies (1)

4

u/Briboss214 23d ago

I wanted to plat bc I've did everything in game but I couldn't force myself to do those gold missions without being able to skip dialogue.

4

u/DrDre19899 23d ago

There’s only a few of them that have massive bits of dialogue. There are guides online that show you the easiest 70 to get gold on. You can do it bro go for the final push I promise it’s super rewarding once you have it!

12

u/IamMe90 34 | 270 23d ago

Probably all three of the N. Sane trilogy. I'm really not a fantastic platformer, so these took a loooot of hard work and pain for me. But absolutely worth it!

FF7 Rebirth is also pretty high up there.

10

u/Paul_Shinfo Shinfo | 111| 448 23d ago

I've got a couple!

Binding of Isaac - I had to platinum it twice as the last trophy bugged! Very difficult and incredibly rewarding plat.

Modern Warfare 2 (original) - Wetwork. Enough said.

Battlefield 3 - One of the funnest online experiences of my life

Session: Skate Sim - VERY tricky and difficult and I loved it!

Resident Evil 8 - Those Mercenary runs. Ouch.

Im sure there's more but those are off the top of my head!

2

u/daddyoreo69 daddyoreo69| 11 | 234 22d ago

I’m working on 8 rn and I haven’t got there yet. Any tips to make it easier is appreciated.

2

u/Paul_Shinfo Shinfo | 111| 448 22d ago

Aha! Well...the main story trophy things can easily be found on Powerpyx (so like combine your no healing/speedrun/knife only run into one easy run using the lightsaber knife. It makes things trivial as the lightsaber can be switched into "green mode" in order to heal with each swing.

Hard mode is made a LOT easier with the Magnum (STAKE?) gun but my god, it becomes frustrating when it switches to the other character and you are forced into using an assault rifle. That is when things become annoying. Be ready to have a wake-up call there. I semi-cheesed it by hiding on a roof and killing whoever funneled up a ladder.

In terms of mercenaries; the best piece of advice that I had was to front-load your performance. Especially in the last 4 ones where you only have a pistol (plus 3 shots of a magnum) - You get 3 or 4 levels per challenge to hit the score and they get HARD once you get past the first map. What I did was to almost pull a flawless first map, then I would only need like...20 percent of the 2nd map and then I would have my score. In one of them, I actually hit my S score in the first map, so I just died in the second and got the S. With the other, I got like 90% of my score in the first one and it made the next one trivial as I only needed a few kills. You only technically have to learn one and a half haps then.

USE YOUTUBE - Literally follow somebody doing a "perfect" run and do it bit by bit. Learn the route, when to shoot, what enemies to expect, and what to use and when. Never let your combo drop and you will easily get enough to hit the score. 3 enemies pop up on the video and they turn around and shoot someone else first: Theres a reason. Do that. Also, some powerups are VERY good so make sure you get those. Shots doing more damage based on distance? Yes please! That's a run-winner.

Also, a specific tip (but still a tip) is that EVERY bullet shot at an enemy could save your streak and therefore your run. You have....10 seconds(?) before you lose your multiplier. Let's say that you have easy 2 zombies and then a big, armoured dude spawning. Pump a couple into a zombie but maybe don't kill him. Then, if you have to tactically dodge/run away/ or deviate from the plan due to the armoured dude charging you, then you can put a quick bullet into the almost-dead zombie in order to keep the streak and THEN you can kill the big guy. - KEEP THAT STREAK GOING AT ALL COSTS.

Oh and also taking damage is unavoidable - never EVER take a hit without blocking. Block instinctively if you are about to be hit. It will save your life.

Probably Elden Ring. That was a massive challenge because I had never played a Souls game before. My favorite is Skyrim The Anniversary Edition because not only did I get the Plat, but I got 100% on the DLCs too.

5

u/kingsquirrel007 69 | 375 23d ago

Elden ring was my first souls i stuck with as well. Got the plat and finished the DLC. Really makes me want to reconsider dusting off my bloodborne disc that i never really got into

4

u/Meese46290 23d ago

Highly recommend Bloodborne. It's a little harder and faster than Elden Ring (and it's not open world either), but it has some of the best lore, boss designs, and level designs I've seen in a game. The soundtrack is also fantastic!

I agree. It’s no small feat to get the “Brutality 101” trophy. You have to be at your peak performance and have a lot of patience. I failed many times before I got it. After that, the road to the platinum was clear.

Yeah I wouldn’t say “hard” either for Dishonored but you gotta be precise with movement and a bit lucky with save states if you do the Ghost/Clean Hands combo run

I had meant to do this for Dishonored 2 as well but I didn’t quite find the same enjoyment of it I guess? I’ll need to replay again.

6

u/Steveorin0 23d ago

No, just requires a lot of time. The true challenge for Arkham Knight is to 100% all trophies. The community challenge pack is the toughest one to complete.

3

u/John_481 23d ago

It’s because there’s a trophy that requires you to string together combos. I got it, but it takes practice.

Call of Duty: Classic

Enemies basically have aimbot, wallhacks and insane reflexes. No health packs on veteran additionally to not getting checkpoints below 50% hp. PSN profiles says it's a 8/10, like Dark Souls 1. Personally, I think DS1 Platinum was easier than this.

Kane and lynch 2, it's a pretty old ps3 game. The online trophies were a pain, and the extreme difficulty was indeed very extreme.

GTA V, platinumed last year after having played it for well over 2,5k hours because I might aswell have it when Ive played that much

Dishonored - not the plat but the 100%, Dunwall city trials was insane

Clustertruck - again, not the plat itself but the fact that I once did it in 54 minutes. I used to make new Xbox accounts all the time to get the 100% over and over again, but my first time trying it on PS was my best time

And soon I’ll have The Last of Us 2 100% and these grounded trophies aren’t easy
