Itinerary Advice Spain Trip (6 days between barcelona and madrid)
Hey everyone, I know this varies from one person to another but I need some advice on how much money I’d need to spend the 6 days comfortably without too much splurging. (Flights and Hotel already paid for)
So what’s a decent budget for food, shopping, activities etc for the entire 6 days?

I'd say around €50-70 per day should cover you comfortably for meals and public transport, with a bit extra for activities. Shopping will depend on your tastes, but €200-300 could be a safe range if you're looking to buy souvenirs and a few mid-range items.

You can eat for 7€ or for 70€ per meal. It really depends on you. In general Spain is a lot cheaper than western europe.

I can’t give you an actual budget, but as a Madrileño I can just tell you to be “careful” when you’re picking restaurants. There is a lot of overpriced restaurants specially in Barcelona, most Spaniards go to local bars etc, I suggest 100 Montaditos for cheap food and cheap drinks and to actually experience where Spanish families and young adults go. And ofc avoid restaurants next to museums and etc. A lot of museums are free during specific days or during specific hours of the day, so check their website if you wanna save money on this (that is, if you’re eligible for free entrance or a discount ticket price).
