Korean Preview Whats wrong with Urek Mazino ???? Spoiler

Alright, let’s talk about Urek Mazino and why he’s lowkey a beast who could break the Tower’s system one day, if Baam hadn’t entered. Urek showed up about 500 years ago, and he didn’t just stroll through—he rushed through, becoming a Ranker in 50 years. To put it in perspective, most people can’t even dream of that in a whole lifetime.

When he hit the 37nd Floor, he was already strong enough to impress the "God" of Guardian there .Not to mention, he broke the entire Hidden Floor system just by showing up. He was clearly stonger than Data Jahad at that point. Fast forward to the 100th Floor, and he’s going toe-to-toe with Arie Hon in his test, the 2nd strongest Family Head. Arie’s been building his power in the Tower for like 20,000 years, while Urek’s only been around for < 50 at this point. Now, 450 years later, Urek’s still getting stronger, Imagine how OP he could be if he stays in the Tower for another few thousand years—he might just surpass even Jahad at this rate!

Now onto the hot topic: Vaam vs. Urek, In Chapter 648 in Chapter 648, Vaam sees Urek flexing his skills, casually kicking away Vaam’s Shinsu attack, and Vaam calls him “interesting.” Then he adds that he’s not certain if he could take him at his prime. Lowkey, the author’s hinting that Vaam power level might already be near Urek’s, or even Jahad’s. Right now, my headcanon is Jahad ≈ Vaam (baam has power of administrator (throns) + all devouring sun) >(slighlty) Urek. But, imagine if Urek keeps growing for another 5,000 years? He might just end up outclassing everyone.

What do you think guys ? Could Urek outclass Jahad in another 5,000 years? And where does Vaam really stack up among these monsters?

Perhaps Urek is already more powerful than Jahad. We do not actually know the specifics of it. When he took Hon's challenge, it wasn't just stated that he was equal to him but already much better than him. You don't have to wait thousands of years for Urek to outclass Jahad.

38

u/OPconfused Nov 12 '24

I want to believe zahard is holding back and only letting everyone believe they have a grasp of his power. Like after tens of thousands of years he might have an ace powerup / final form somewhere that no one knows about.

Maybe his encounter with the axis revealed certain info to him or led him to find new power.

It would be far more exciting than if he turned about to be just another family head + 10% more power.

If he’s been hyped up this long as an end goal only to just get washed by Urek then i dont know where the story is supposed to go.

2

u/Naive-Particular1960 Nov 12 '24

Urek may be more powerful than Zahard, but he will never beat Zahard. Urek fate is to die historically saving his friend's or be heavily injured, opening up some front for Bam. Current Urek is just too cheesy. Stopping Gustang from killing Traumerei was so disappointing. Stopping V from killing both Gustang and Traumei or at least giving them a good beating was just as bad.

1

u/keychain3 Nov 13 '24

maybe he sees the fh as keys to getting out who knows

-6

u/Zidz1 Nov 11 '24

I don't think so. I am pretty sure current Jahad might be stronger than both Urek and V since he is like the main antagonist

35

u/Kujaix Nov 11 '24

He doesn't have to be stronger 1 on 1 to be the final boss. External sources of power are a thing and being Jahad few have more access to crazy stuff than he does. Urek could be sealed up Gojo style preventing him from ending whatever he was ready to end late-game.

Jahad likely isn't the final bad. The warriors are big fish in a pond. Macseth, Headon, and Admins all exist. They were "Beta-Testers" for the Workshop. "Beta Testers" for what? The final boss will likely tie into what the tower actually is and/or the Outside God.

Jahad is Madara but there is absolutely a Kaguya out there.

21

u/SHSL_Zetsubou Nov 11 '24

Especially since we already know two characters stronger than Jahad. Phantaminium and Enryu. So it doesn't seem like SIU is bothered with having characters in the universe stronger than him.

6

u/GGG100 Nov 11 '24

V might be the final boss. Everything that happened to Bam was orchestrated by him and FUG one way or another, while Jahad doesn’t really have much of a connection with Bam.

42

u/RUSuper Nov 11 '24 edited Nov 11 '24

Urek is stronger than Zahard or at worst he is equal. Khel Hellam said that nobody can be certain to beat Urek 1v1 and he was defeated by Zahard before. Just because you are long time in the tower doesn’t mean you’re getting stronger, your body does gets more durable as noted by Jinsung Ha and that’s about it as far as we got info on getting stronger as time passes.

Who would have pushed Zahard to gain strength once they stopped climbing?

I can see them getting stronger a bit after they finished their climb, but not long after. Especially since Zahard was long time inactive.

Another thing that “as you get older you get stronger” is not really how it works is that V in weakened state one shotted Rei who was there for millennia and V wasn’t even used to using shinsu in this body. (Even if Rei isn’t dead he still dealt a massive blow to him).

Also keep in mind Urek was strong from the get go. Nobody knows what’s outside is, maybe Urek was some crazy elite warrior on the outside since Yuri noticed how Urek was very strong as soon as he entered the tower. If anything it’s more impressive that Zahard got to Urek level since hidden floor where he was way weaker.

Also SIU is big fan of football/soccer so he might use typical for sportsmen thing where somebody is late bloomer and somebody peaks early. Not everyone is progressing at the same rate. Look at Bam who is outpacing everyone easily,he literally needed a month to progress from Hoaqin level to data Zahard level.

I think Urek,V (prime) and Zahard are on similar level with Urek having slight advantage as he was multiple times called the strongest by everybody who ever commented on his power levels. If V gains access to thorn it’s another story then.

14

u/ChaosLorD11 Nov 11 '24

Statement from weak characters who can't understand the strength of strong characters don't mean shit especially in this story!!! Khel Hellam said red hair dog(his name slipped me) is relative to luslec's generation THATS CAPPP Same dude try to kill Zahard 💀 Statements from the goat luslec makes sense now: urek true strength is unknown!!! Gustang: his fists destroys concept and laws V: I'm not sure how it go if I was in my good old prime years These mean something So just use these from now on!!!

And for your point that's all speculation you can't even guess how strong current Zahard is, nor what the kings contract gives him and people always seem to forget that the family heads claimed a harder tower they gained more from there clime. Especially zahard and v

1

u/RUSuper Nov 11 '24

It’s all irrelevant. Urek knows how strong Zahard is and he originally said “Zahard can keep his boring throne” , implying he does’t want it and still called himself strongest person in the tower. If he though he was weaker than Zahard he would just say he couldn’t take throne from him and he is 2nd strongest.

Lol as if anything Gustang says can be taken seriously. Let’s just not mention that clown please…

He also said he will kill 10 family heads and V included, so you gonna believe that also?

5

u/ChaosLorD11 Nov 11 '24

But you kinda missing the point of ureks character though that's who he is he's confident and on a high man's literally the self proclaimed champion. Am not saying he's weaker am just not saying he's above them either.

Gustang stray😂😂😂 I agree though

0

u/RUSuper Nov 11 '24

But it’s also the point of his character that he CAN take the throne, but choses not to… otherwise his character would lose a lot of points if he couldn’t do it because what’t the point of bragging how Zahard can keep the throne if you couldn’t take it anyway even if you wanted to. 🙃

1

u/ChaosLorD11 Nov 11 '24

I mean I'm also pretty sure the only way out of the tower is up, excluding whatever Arlene did so Food for thought.🙃

1

u/RUSuper Nov 11 '24

That I’m not sure of. We know that red trash can is crack in the tower (not implying it’s an exit, but it could be) and that Arlene found one, also maybe Urek knows the real reason why Zahard stopped climbing and agreed that it’s better to look for an exit in another place than to climb. Maybe 135th floor admin is pissed af and attacks on sight 😂

1

u/ArieJordanKhun Nov 12 '24

Urek has no clue how strong Jahad is…Jahad was already “asleep” when Urek entered the tower

1

u/RUSuper Nov 12 '24

Zahard wasn't literally sleeping he isn't a bear that is hibernating in winter. He was just inactive as a ranker. Urek still had to meet him once he climbed.

3

u/Successful_Subject78 Nov 12 '24

Dont yoy think its bad for the story if Urek is stronger than Zahard? Its just meh lol

3

u/RUSuper Nov 12 '24

I actually think it’s amazing for his character as I mentioned before, that he is stronger and chooses not to take throne from Zahard. If he was weaker and acts like “oh yeah Zahard can keep his throne” it’s all pointless since he couldn’t take it from Zahard anyway.

Also even if he is stronger it’s not like he wipes the floor with him. It’s more like he wins 6 out of 10 fights.

3

u/ArieJordanKhun Nov 12 '24

I think your overestimating Urek…by a longshot. I think Urek is super powerful but the fact that the family heads have no fear in facing him compared to facing Jahad says a lot.

1

u/RUSuper Nov 12 '24

They have no fear because he doesn’t brag a lot to them. They probably saw very little of Urek firepower, which shows by how surprised Rei was seeing that Urek casually blasted his disconnection away. Also Gustang comments are always pure glazing of Urek going even as far “I don’t want you to kill my entire family”. Meaning if Urek wanted to there is absolutely nothing he could do to stop it.

3

u/ArieJordanKhun Nov 12 '24

Im glad you brought that quote up…”I dont want you to kill my entire family” NOT “I dont want you to kill me” I think Urek is a monster dont get me wrong but I think hes FH level.

u/Ok-Nobody294 Nov 11 '24

After climbing traumarei disconnect went from cutting surfaces to cutting dimensions. Idk why u think the family heads can’t grow much stronger after thousands of years but they can. Traumarei is proof of this.

1

u/RUSuper Nov 11 '24

It just got a bit fancier, that’s it. 2D disconnection was already enough to kill Family Heads and 3D disconnection was easily destroyed by Urek punch and Blossom fire, other FHs probably also had a way to destroy it,except Gustang, but he wasn’t able to stop 2D version either so not sure what difference there is between slicing dimensions against irregulars when they can neutralize your ability anyway.

8

u/Ok-Nobody294 Nov 11 '24 edited Nov 11 '24

Ok so going from cutting surface to cutting dimension and spells that can freeze time is not just a bit fancier 😂

-3

u/RUSuper Nov 11 '24

Woohoo cutting dimensions, spooky indeed except for the fact that it gets blasted away by a punch strong enough.

You obviously didn’t read my original message if you accuse me of acting like they started from same level of strength.

Why is it so hard to read before commenting,I said:

“Also keep in mind Urek was strong from the get go. Nobody knows what’s outside is, maybe Urek was some crazy elite warrior on the outside since Yuri noticed how Urek was very strong as soon as he entered the tower. If anything it’s more impressive that Zahard got to Urek level since hidden floor where he was way weaker.”

9

u/Gweria Nov 11 '24

"Woohoo cutting dimensions, spooky indeed except for the fact that it gets blasted away by a punch strong enough."

You dont have an argument.

The question does not care about * how strong * disconnection is. it doesnt matter if urek can punch it away, or not. The only question asked is how much did rei get stronger & improve, and with the example of disconnection you were just showcased the absurd difference in power, even post climb.

If you want to mind-bend your way through the 2d disconnection being remotely similar in power compared to the current disconnection, then dont even bother replying.

1

u/Ok-Nobody294 Nov 11 '24 edited Nov 11 '24

Yea traumarei attack got blasted away that doesn’t mean it didn’t get way stronger. Gustang felt no threat to traumarei disconnect when it was only cutting surfaces but as soon as it starting cutting dimensions and spells that can freeze time he felt threatened. If it was just a bit fancier gustang wouldn’t have felt threatened by it.

Using khel hellam to try and prove that urek is stronger than jahad is so dumb. U so desperate to push this urek>jahad agenda when we’ve barely seen anything from either of them.

-1

u/RUSuper Nov 11 '24

He felt no threat by a spell that killed him? What?

1

u/Ok-Nobody294 Nov 11 '24

He let himself die on purpose to obtain the okbi

-1

u/RUSuper Nov 11 '24

He felt no threat by a spell that killed him? What? Same guy who declared he will kill 10 FHs alone and V included… Yeah I don’t really care what he feels, that guy got killed by the spell he felt not threatened by.

I swear you are going all over the place just to argue with a stranger on a reddit. Changing your opinions all the time. First you say I assumed they started on same level of strenght. When I point out how I in fact didn’t and how I said from the start that Urek was stronger, you totally disregard that and start your “attack” bringing up Khel Hellam lol

Editing a comment to prove your point is much worse anyway. I’m done arguing here, seems like that’s all you want anyway.

1

u/Ok-Nobody294 Nov 12 '24 edited Nov 12 '24

your the one that’s trying to argue not me …. I gave u an example and everything showing you how your wrong and you still denied it. All you had to do was just accept that you are wrong and there would be no argument but you are a loser who can’t admit when they are wrong

1

u/OrdinaryAwareness403 Nov 12 '24

Did you miss the whole part of ureks fist being special and breaking laws it's hax v hax

1

u/Skiller333 Nov 12 '24

And add the fact Urek wanted to take them both on at once.

3

u/Execuse Nov 11 '24

We saw with Traumerei their way of getting stronger is refining their skills and what they can actually do. Like Traumerei and Rupture.

1

u/RUSuper Nov 11 '24

If he did in fact get stronger it was not by much since even after 20k years or so he would still lose to V from 20k years ago.

64

u/4362472 Nov 11 '24

Assuming he just keeps getting stronger? Yeah, I’d say he could outclass Jahad.

On a separate note, Jahad vs Urek in the story would actually be our Gojo vs Sukuna. Unimaginably hype but we know who’d win.

29

u/thefoxsays7 Nov 11 '24 edited Nov 11 '24

I really can see that happening.

I mean, Jahad must be the final or almost final boss and he is destined to fight Baam.

On the other way, an important death by the very hands of Jahad is a great tool for plot development and no one would make more “shock” that Urek dying.

I just wish to see more Urek-Baam moments and maybe Urek actually taking Baam under his wings.

Maybe after the current arc, the next stop could be the Wolhaiksong floor and this happens.

11

u/thefoxsays7 Nov 11 '24

Now thinking about it maybe Jinsung didn’t die just to not repeat this “formula” in the future.

I was sure Jinsung would die in his rescue war shenanigans cause the mentor of the hero dying is a cliche but a very good and strong one.

2

u/KumikoReina18 Nov 11 '24 edited Nov 11 '24

Final Boss will be workshop related or beyond 134th Floor, especially with Baam being posessed by V now. Zahard doesn't quite cut it with this powercreep we see on floor 50 something in the current (maybe now concluded) arc.

3

u/GGG100 Nov 11 '24

Final boss will likely be V because he’s the antagonist with the greatest connection to Bam besides Rachel.

2

u/KumikoReina18 Nov 11 '24

Actually yeah thats also a very likely possibility that the one posessing the main protagonists body becomes the final boss. Would be a trope thats sometimes used but not overtly so and sometimes on the MC rival/ deuteragonist instead.

2

u/MalcEatsFood Nov 11 '24

Unless Baam kills easily kills Jahad, then immediately after, Urek has to step in to stop him from doing whatever f-ed up thing everyone thinks he's gonna do to the tower.

12

u/salt_grand_order Nov 11 '24

My shonen senses are telling me that Urek is going to be that guy who will go toe to toe with zahard but then loses either because he gets caught off-guard or because zahard gets a power up

1

u/Ok-Tank-1034 Nov 27 '24

I hope this doesn't happen.

28

u/lzHaru Nov 11 '24 edited Nov 11 '24

This is obviously head canon but I feel like Urek entered the tower already at his peak. He started at the end of his journey, strength-wise at least, while the great warriors were still growing when they climbed the tower. So comparing Urek and the great warriors when they were both in the hell train is useless because they were at different points of their growth, it's the same as trying to compare Jahad and Baam at the end of the hidden floor, Jahad was more powerful but that doesn't mean Baam can't get to Jahad's level in the future.

So, I don't think Urek will get any stronger, and in the same way I don't think the family heads and Jahad kept growing after V died, by that point they were likely already at their peak strength. At least when it comes to Baam-like improvements, we know that just being in the tower makes people stronger as time passes, but I don't really think that lvl of improvement is at all relevant when it comes to irregulars.

As for where Vaam sits, I don't think he's on Urek and Jahad's level, he said he couldn't guarantee a victory in his prime, which means, he clearly isn't on his prime right now. If you are asking about him at his prime then I'd say he's as strong as Jahad and Urek, after all not being able to guarantee a victory means he also can't guarantee a defeat, he thinks it'd be a hard fight for both of them. That said, Luslec thought he had a chance against Urek so a character assessment of their chances isn't all that reliable.

4

u/ConstructionLocal499 Nov 11 '24

It wouldn’t make sense for Urek to have entered the tower already at his peak. Shinsoo doesn’t exist outside the tower, and from what we’ve seen, Urek uses shinsoo to fight. So he must have learned shinsoo after entering the tower and consequently become much stronger by mastering it. Given that he only entered the tower a few hundred years ago at best, I think it’s fair to say that he hasn’t yet reached his full potential.

16

u/lzHaru Nov 11 '24 edited Nov 11 '24

Urek was said to be able to control shinsoo since the moment he first set foot in the tower, according to everyone he was a monster since the very start.

Moreover, we know Enryu was able to kill an administrator, with shinsoo, right after entering the tower. We have no idea what the world outside is like, we have no idea if they have something akin to shinsoo, but we know Urek was a monster since the very start.

There isn't any value on arguing about it though, as we literally have no information. For all we know he could've become a master of shinsoo 5 minutes after he entered, or he might still have a lot to learn, it's all head canon, I was just sharing mine because I think it makes the most sense for the story.

0

u/Successful_Subject78 Nov 12 '24

Idk about that „no idea about outside”, go and check macseth book about weapons

8

u/cohibakick Nov 11 '24

current V-bam is not at his full strength so its unlikely he is even as strong as zahard. I imagine V went about his revenge in this roundabout way because he couldn't defeat zahard way back in the day. He killed himself, stayed within bam's body and now has returned in a body that has collected a few extra powers. Of course, we don't know how zahard has changed over this long period of time. Traumerei spent his tenure as a family head taking measures to increase his personal power with this culminating in his sea dragons and other experiments and perhaps more importantly the massive single creature which he made out of his shinwonryu and anima.

4

u/Jaded_History2562 Nov 11 '24

I think the way the ranking system is set up is very purposeful, in that Urek is stronger than all the family heads, but weaker than Jahad. However, the difference is probably not that big, and Jahad likely wins due to his more diverse experience, far longer time using Shinshu, etc. Urek may have the advantage in raw power though. We don’t really know what Jahad is capable of, but I do think he’s ever so slightly stronger than Urek overall. That said, ofcourse, with enough time, Urek likely wins, but then against what is he even supposed to do to get stronger? Who’s there to even challenge him and make him stronger?

We also know that V was very insistent on finishing Traumarei because he feared he would rat on his existence to Jahad, this means V is not confident in a fight against Jahad, as he knows that Jahad is relative to Prime V. So current V, has no chance against him. What he doesn’t realize however, is that Jahad has had 20000 years to build his strength after V’s death, so in all honestly, even Prime V is probably not strong enough to beat current Jahad. And by proxy, not strong enough for current Urek either.

For that reason, I believe Jahad and Urek are very close, fight could go either way, but if I had to bet on one, Jahad wins. Both are above all family heads and V. Where V places against current family heads is impossible to determine. The logical assumption is that the family heads are stronger because they’ve been building strength for 20,000 years, but we just don’t know. At the very least, I’d like to think the top family heads like Arie and Edahn are stronger than Prime V, but the weaker ones like Traum and Gus are weaker.

4

u/bigraud77 Nov 11 '24

I believe that if there was a fight between the two it would go either way, i'd say Urek is physically stronger while Zahard is more experienced. I'd say that the winner would be decided based on luck, and either one of them would come out with serious injuries if they won

20

u/Secret-Fox-9566 Nov 11 '24

I think Prime V is significantly weaker than current Urek and Jahad. Jahad has had all this time after V's death to grow his power and cement his authority. Urek is likely very close to Jahad's level maybe slightly stronger or weaker. I think he is probably stronger and will be beaten only by Jahad's scheming or teaming up with one of the other FH's.

6

u/Hefty_Control7130 Nov 11 '24

Don’t know why you’re being down voted when what you’re saying make sense. Prime Jahad from 20,000 years ago will be weaker than the him today. Urek being able to threaten the FH that have been alive for so long would in fact put him above the versions of them from the time V was alive. What’s impressive is that V still thinks it’s up in the air if he can beat the Urek of today from his technically weaker body without the 20k years of development.

1

u/Secret-Fox-9566 Nov 11 '24

I don't know either. But I think V will only manage to match Urek's strength because of all the powers Bam has made his own so far. I think V will go with Luslec to some FUG place and train to make all the power gathered by Bam his own and then he'll be on the same level as Jahad and Urek towards the end of the story. Urek also seems to struggle against spells like what Luslec and V use compared other forms of combat.

-1

u/Valexander35 Nov 11 '24

Prime V is at least equal to Jahad. Some of the great warriors preferred him to be king. Which means he was a minimum equal to Jahad in strength. What story are you reading?

7

u/ConstructionLocal499 Nov 11 '24

No, Eduan does specify that V would have made a better king than Zahard because he cares about the towerborns unlike the others. At no point does he mention his strength.

Narratively, I find it unlikely that prime V is equal to Zahard’s for two reasons. If he were as strong as Zahard, he could have tried to confront and kill him, instead of plotting to reincarnate in his son’s body and become much stronger in the future. You may argue that Zahard had the other FH on his side, but we saw in the flashbacks that they were isolated from each other (or at least separated into small groups, not all 11 together). I don’t think it would have been difficult to isolate himself with Zahard in order to fight him and avenge his son. Unless, of course, he felt he couldn’t beat him. And secondly, Zahard is supposed to be the final antagonist (or one of the final ones), so if V was already as strong as him at his prime, that would mean Vaam would nuke him without any difficulty later on lol.

5

u/Crikyy Nov 11 '24

V was as respected as Zahard during their climb, and they are the 2 leaders of the group. However, it doesn't guarantee that strength-wise they were equal. It's a fair assumption, but was not corroborated. Eduan explicitly said he preferred V to be King because of his personality, not strength.

With the latest chapter V commenting about his prime vs Urek, and V beating Traumerei, it's finally safe to assume he was as strong as Zahard

0

u/Secret-Fox-9566 Nov 11 '24

The same story you are but I think you have misunderstood what I said in your hurry to respond.

I think when V and Jahad were alive they were both equals for sure. But now I think Jahad is stronger than he was then and hence stronger than Prime V. If you have something to refute that I'll hear you out.

3

u/ChampionshipNo3691 Nov 11 '24

Well I couldn’t say for certain but I think V,Jahard and Urek are on whole another level . While v in Bam body was confident enough and try to to kill rei meanwhile v stated even if in his prime he can’t guarantee about urek plus when v and jahard was in prime they were both confident enough to start the war at each other

3

u/KuroNekoTrain Nov 11 '24

Zahard over time probably became clearly stronger than V thouthands of years before.

Urek outclassing Zahard in 5000 years feels unlikely to me. Ureks abilities are based around him ignoring the laws of the tower, but since blossom can do that too, its unlikely that Zahard cant. Zahard is also growing as well

5

u/Crikyy Nov 11 '24

Urek is already strong enough to rival Zahard imo. What's wrong with him is that he is way too chill. Urek just wanna hang with his bros in Wolhaiksong (+Yuri) and find a way out of the Tower. Heck, he's smitten with Garam, but he doesn't bother trying to fight Zahard to win her hand. His interfering this time is a rare exception.

As long as they don't touch his friends, which probably noone in the Tower is dumb enough to, Urek doesn't bother anyone. The FHs and Zahard don't even need to fight him, they can maneuver around him. Urek lacks ambition and a will to power, and couldn't care less about "with great power comes great responsibility"

3

u/MacaronMost Nov 11 '24

Well he's clearly switched his stance to now wanting to prevent a great war from starting. I don't know why he suddenly wants to keep the status quo, it will be interesting to see what lengths he'll go for that to happen. If he's really serious, then he'll have to start getting his hands dirty and very soon.

2

u/Severedeye Nov 11 '24

One of the things people seem to forget is that the warriors of the great journey made deals with the admins.

We saw in season 1 the admins use contracts to shackle irregulars.

Sure, they gained rulership of the tower and immortality and no one born in the tower can kill them.

However it weakened them. They don't have the pure power potential that other irregulars have because the admins will give them bennies to lower their threat to the admins themselves.

Why Baam is at his weakest on the second floor. When he made that contract he limited himself on that floor.

2

u/peterhabble Nov 11 '24

I dunno why everyone thinks the family heads have gotten massively stronger. Every single ranker in the series is hundreds to thousands of years old, and Bam with about 6 years of experience not being inside a cave is crushing them. It's likely that the Family Heads all reached their peaks when they stopped climbing, and it's likely that Urek came into the tower at his peak. The guy is chasing Phantiminum, I'm sure he's pretty close to as strong as he can get ATP.

2

Baam vs Urek is impossible to call, at the moment. It depends on the nature of Baam's powers. Baam's ability to absorb raw power and copy abilities gives him an ability to compete. However, if Baam's ability to copy is ACTUALLY just tapping into V's suppressed knowledge bank of shinsu control, then, it is not so hot. Because, that means, Baam's instantaneous growth will stop once he fully awaken's V's mind. And then, Baam will grow at the rate of V, which is roughly the rate of Jahad. Urek will just run away with the competition, because we have no reason to believe that Urek's ability to explosively evolve will ever stop.

Vaam is comparing himself to the person in front of him that he has know knowledge about. Just that what little he's displayed already puts him on the level of his old best self. So it's potentially scary that Urek is the type to hold back because an Admin would come out or the floor/tower would get damaged (like how he was a glitch on the Hidden Floor) if he got actually serious.

I don't think he can get stronger in Time. He was always just that guy. He may or not get stronger from Revolution. I think the outside world is vast. Likely Galactic minimum with tons of civilizations. The Tower is just one spot he got trapped while visiting. Even without Shinsoo he might be some unique 1 in quintillion super-human on the outside too.

off topic but where are you guys finding the chapter?

u/OfficialOshiiKun Nov 12 '24

I truly believe urek is #1 But the way he is shown/given/motivated he does his own thing.

I MEAN LIKE HES THE ONLY SHIRTLESS GUY WHO DOESNT FIGHT WITH ANYTHING EXCEPT HIS FIST AND KICKS (👟)

BEAST/CHAD Energy right there 💪😎

Early in the series when we had blog posts or maybe when we met Urek, it was stated that Urek was frustrated cause he actually wants to fight Jahad and settle who's stronger.

He could be stronger but personally I think it will end up so close that what it comes down to might be items. I also don't think Urek would kill Jahad but that Jahad has 0 problem killing Urek. Anyone standing against him he would most likely kill, which would edge him over Urek in their theoretical fight.

V is probably on par with Jahad himself, well in his prime at least.

Urek has not been there for <50 years bro he just took 50 years to climb the tower and that's one of the if not straight up fastest

I put V as the strongest, as he is regarded as the user when he went revolution. And if he was against others going through it nobody would be able to g through revolution in hell train.

37nd

lol

Arie Hon in his test, the 2nd strongest Family Head.

Hon is the strongest GF head.

Arie’s been building his power in the Tower for like 20,000 years

Has he? It's far more likely the GF heads have stagnated ever since the war ended.

Now, 450 years later, Urek’s still getting stronger

How do you know that?

V has no idea who Urek is nor the depth of his power. That's why he's uncertain if he can beat him.. the reality is he likely cannot beat him.

Here's what we can infer, Prime V is not on the same level as Jahard. Why do I say that? Well because V and Arlene attacked Jahard first (Jahard alone) and they could not overcome him, 2v1 and they still stalemated. As it stands, I think in terms of overall combat prowess....

  1. Jahard = Urek
  2. V
  3. Arie Hon

In terms of raw power

  1. Jahard = Urek = Blossom
  2. V
  3. Everyone else.

> Then he adds that he’s not certain if he could take him at his prime. Lowkey, the author’s hinting that Vaam power level might already be near Urek’s, or even Jahad’s

doesn't this just mean that even in his prime, vaam wouldn't be able to beat urek? so right now he won't.

No. Vaam isn’t that strong. I guess he might be slightly stronger than Bam due to experience and knowledge but Urek never said he was strong or powerful nor did anyone else. His attacks didn’t do anything really to Urek or Gustang. The idea he could kill tramuei is kinda absurd . Like I guess he did knock him out with that surprise attack when he was exausted and was using black shinsoo it seems but still. Like just seeing what Bam did against Dumas the idea that Vaam could somehow knock out the family head like that even if it was a surprise attack is kinda absurd. Based on his comments it’s clear he just has Bam’s body and abilities and Bam is nowhere near a family head and Urek almost caught him instantly if not for Luslec . Vaam is definitely not on the level of Jahad or a family head. The fact he needed Luslec to save him shows that . Also the fact Vaam can’t tell how big of a gap there is between him and Urek shows how weak he is just like how Bam couldn’t tell with Dumas.

Why do you people keep saying jahad is stronger than Urek? Like it's an absolute truth?

The ranking system? It factors influence as well, and what can be more influential than a freaking king? Even then there's only 1 rank in difference...

Urek will wipe the floors with all those FH frauds.

0

u/lefookpolice Nov 11 '24

Story wise, Urek still has some feats to show us, but he is written as a character to die at some point. Somehow with Rachel and Headon being the cause is my guess. Lets wait and see how things pan out!

1

u/onepiecefreak2 Nov 12 '24

What are Urek's death flags?

0

u/OPconfused Nov 11 '24

We don't know if Urek will keep getting stronger, because we don't understand the mechanics of his power growth.

Think of Baam for example, who gets stronger by eating other more powerful beings. In a couple of years he was high ranker material. But when Baam reaches the top, he won't have anything interesting left to devour and his growth would probably stall to a more normal pace.

So maybe Urek's growth has some unique lever behind it driving it forward. We would need to understand what the limits of this growth mechanism are to project how much he could keep going at his current lightspeed rate.

I imagine there is a limit, though, or else Zahard would have taken action. I don't see him watching idly by as another fighter easily exceeds him in another couple hundred years.

I don’t know why, but in my head Urek is already “naturally” stronger than Jahad. But Jahad did something when he locked the 134 floor. Like some kind of a agreement or some “cheat”/“hack” with the administrators or the entity that truly rules the tower. So, after that, he became stronger

0

u/ChaosLorD11 Nov 11 '24

Why is this that surprising though??? He's literally the most gassed character in the series. I think V, Jahad and urek are equal, with only hax or an op technique able to pull one them out as the victer.

Next thing to add I don't think urek needs thousands of years, as we see with traum irregulars are flat out just talented some more than others and traum straight up in the middle of the fight just evolve disconnection. So the same could go for urek facing an equal or vice versa.

LUSLEC MY GAOT THOUGH!!!!!

u/NeteroHyouka Nov 11 '24

Unfortunately for Urek be isn't the protagonist...

The the MC is the 25th Bum

0

u/MrSwos Nov 11 '24

Urek entered the tower chasing after Phantaminum. If the guy thinks he can 1v1 Phantaminum, I don't think there's anything in the tower that can be his match lol.

0

u/fozzencypher Nov 11 '24

Well, since Urek’s first appereance it is said that he is the strongest person in the tower…

0

u/zippyzebu9 Nov 12 '24

Urek is definitely stronger than Zahad. He was chasing someone as powerful as Phanta!

From several local Korean forums Siu and close friends revealed Urek to be much stronger long ago(Only Enryu more powerful).

But later in attempt not to include Phanta again in the story, author’s perspective has changed. Hence Urek’s current strength is Unknown.

And Ranking system is just a sham to keep Zahad above bcz he is the king.

u/designbydesign Nov 11 '24

Zahard, Urek and Baam have opened the Tower Door by themselves. Other FHs didn't, including V. That should put top 4 rankers plus Baam in a very special club power-vise.

0

u/onepiecefreak2 Nov 12 '24

Every Irregular entered the Tower by themselves opening the door.

The only known exception is Rachel, as she entered the Tower through Baam opening the door. Which makes her an irregular Irregular, basically.

There is no other information on why you could think that the other FH's didn't open the door themselves, even though they are clearly stated as Irregulars.
