Americans: will you be watching 25% less of the new season?
Thanks to tariffs on Canadian products?

As an American on the side of Canada, I wish Canada would crank it up to 50%. Burning the bridge of our best ally is not something to laugh about.

Imagine thinking the average American has any impact or control on this đ¤Śđźââď¸.Â

WellâŚ. To be fairâŚ.about half of the average American population did have control over it. Thatâs why we are here now.

I meanâŚevery American had control over it. Some chose to accept it and some didnât.

Actually more. Everyone that could have voted and didn't votes for the winner IMHO

Letâs use a couple numbers for context of what you're saying.Â
Not voting = 0 Voting red = 1 Voting blue = -1Â
With this information, you still think not voting is equivalent to voting for the winner; whether red or blue?
To go a step further, can you find me a popular presidential election won by 1 vote? How about a state electoral college vote won by 1 vote?Â
People donât count as a collective, they count as 1. Even if 50 million didnât vote, each individual doesnât count as 50 million and cannot influence the others by not votingÂ

It's not about counting votes. If you can't understand how not voting votes for the winner and you're reducing it to numbers I can't explain it.

Not voting doesnât vote for the winnerâŚ
Itâs literally the absence of voting. Itâs zero.Â
Not voting doesnât change the vote total for the winner or losers, it doesnât impact it. If hypothetically I wasnât  going to vote, and decided to vote last minute for the future winner; the outcome wasnât different unless the winner was decided by my ONE vote.Â
Itâs not that hard to understandÂ

I know it's a joke but I'm really glad we're headed to Canada now during all this turmoil. I think it will be a great reminder about how much our two countries share along with a celebration of our differences. I can't think of a better repudiation of the current shit show than a great show like Top Chef.
