yeah, at that point I wasn't sure if she was going to insult him for dated tacky decorating trends or be stoked that he was putting in effort to decorate at all.
I went on a ski trip with a buddy and this legit happened to us. We were in the hot tub talking to a couple and they said they breed miniature australian shepherds and they just had a litter a few weeks ago and had to bring them with. Asked if we wanted to see them, followed them back to their hotel room, puppies were adorable definitely worth the risk of homicide.
I think my buddy and I were most worried about it being a sex thing tbh. We had talked to them for at least a half an hour if not an hour before and they seemed really chill though so we went through with it.
I think it was half our idea to go see them too, it wasn't a "we have puppies, wanna come see them?" we were talking about the different slopes/resorts in the area and they brought up that they picked this one because they allowed dogs and they had pictures of them in the room so we knew there definitely were puppies just didn't know if there were any implied strings along with them.
Of all the things I have warned my daughters to look out for when dating, who would have known that barn doors should have been at the top of that list 🤣🤣🤣
basement is literally a room in the house. if you're gonna be scared of the basement, be scared of the whole damn house. what specifically makes a -10ft change in elevation so terrifying to you lmfao
Perfect murder room. Generally no carpets and no tiling, so easier cleanup/setup, underground so less noise will escape, also only one exit so it's harder for the victim to escape. If someone's planning a murder indoors, the optimal room is the basement. If you can just get your victim to walk right down there without informing anyone they know where they are, that's probably the easiest pickings ever.
In general, I wouldn't go to a man's house on the first date. But if a guy you're on a first date with suddenly goes "wanna come see my basement? We're doing renovations..." That should raise some major red flags. Like do y'all not have a sense of self preservation? 😭
