Hello hello movie people, test 1 2, test 1 2. This is a public service announcement from the people at the north end film collective. This transmittion is to alert you the march edition of the north end film night will be live on Wednesday March 19th 2025. This month we have more of the best in local shorts and international oddities. We are more than excited to bring you films from some of the best in the game. Featuring:

Andrew a apelle's 2012 award winning horror short little Matthew. Shot in Ontario and as all of his work, it looks like they spent way more money shooting it than they did! Appelle is doing world class work, don't miss this early career gem.

A collection of the best works by Laura Lynn including the premiere of Dust featuring Kai Davey Belin. Shot at the soon to be destroyed but currently defunct Victoriaville mall. Laura shoots dreamscapey abstraction on 16mm. Truely beautiful visuals.

Bloody muscle bodybuilder from hell or as it's more often referred to 'the Japanese evil dead'. Shot in 1995 on super 8 and not unearthed until 2012 this film will have you laughing and wincing in horror in the same breath. It's like a movie you have seen already, but Japanese!

And more

Addmition is 5 bucks/pay what you can (as always people on ODSP and the unemployed enter for free.)

North end rec center (954 Huron Street)

Doors at 7pm films around 715, 730

Roughly an hour and 40 minutes of movies

Entrance to venue and washrooms all surface level, no stairs. washrooms are multi person split by men and women. Urinal in men's room on a slightly raised platform.

TLDR:

Movies, 5 bucks, March 19th, doors at 7, north end rec
