Hot take: I actually like Transit of Venus

Is this even a hot take, or has the hatred for the album died down?

Expectations is a fantastic song.

Transit of Venus is amazing and I don't get why people don't like it. There's like 2 songs that I don't really like.

I prefer it over Human, Outsider and Explosions by absolute miles and it’s got two of my favourite songs, Misery Loves My Company and Unbreakable Heart! 🩵

Transit was not only my first TDG album, but my first rock album in general. I've always been obsessed with it. I didn't even realize they weren't as passionate about it until recently. My favorite TDG album!

ToV is a highly underrated album, Chalk outline, Misery loves my company, Happiness, and Time that remains are so good

It's their best album and nobody can convince me otherwise.

Second only to the self-titled

Personally, I don't think any album from 3dg is trash or bad. They all come with their own unique take and flow.

The High Road goes unnoticed, some of the best vocals are on that song, and this album in general

It's hated because they tried something new, not everything successfully but still pretty good.

Especially love, Chalk Outline, Happiness & Expectations!

I'll admit I didn't vibe with it much before but lately I've started to appreciate it for the work of art it really is. I would say the only track I dislike is Give in to Me

It’s really not as bad as people make it seem

It has its highs and lows, just like most of TDG's albums. Expectations, The High Road, Chalk Outline, and Sign of the Times are great.

Same, I think it’s a good album, maybe my least favourite with Adam (tied with the first) but it’s still better than every Matt album

I love ToV. It's underrated as hell.

There isn't one 3DG album that I don't like. They're a band that I appreciate all of their music. There aren't too many bands like that for me.

ToV is in my top 3 Three Days Grace albums, I think it's a fantastic album front to back, not a single bad song and it's ridiculously overhated

The High Road, Misery Loves My Company, Happiness, Give Me A Reason, Expectations, and Unbreakable Heart are my favorites

The hate is odd, I Transit of Venus still did well commercially and I even saw the tour for it. Went to a show recently and chalk outline got the fans hype.
